Donald Driver led the Packers with four catches for 50 yards in Sunday's 17-7 win over Dallas at Lambeau Field.

Our View:Driver was Green Bay's top receiver, but did not do much to help fantasy owners. He averages 61 receiving yards over his last three games.

Donald Driver was a full participant in practice on Friday and appears ready to play this weekend against the Buccaneers, according to Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Driver should be a fine play this weekend. He has been Aaron Rodgers' top target this season and has a fantasy friendly matchup in Tampa Bay.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that Packers' wide receiver Donald Driver was held out of practice again on Thursday. Driver's status for the team's next game is unknown.

Our View:Head coach Mike McCarthy said Driver will likely play this week even if he can't practice tomorrow, but we would be very discouraged if he misses again. Monitor his situation for the rest of the week, as his status will likely come down to game time.

Greg A. Bedard reports via Twitter that wideout Donald Driver was held out of practice on Wednesday.

Our View:This seems like the Packers just being careful with their aging receiver. He suffered a neck stinger late in the game against Minnesota on Sunday and likely just needs some extra rest. Expect him to play in Week 9 and improve on his 542 yards and three scores against a hapless Tampa Bay secondary.

Donald Driver (neck stinger) is expected to play in Week 9, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:He suffered the injury very late in Green Bay's loss to Minnesota last Sunday. Driver has remained a solid fantasy receiver in 2009, reeling in 33 balls for 542 yards and three touchdowns.

Donald Driver's neck is "very sore" after taking a thundering hit late in the second half of the Packers/Vikings game on Sunday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Thankfully for the Packers, it appears to be soreness and only soreness. He may be questionable for this weekend against the Buccaneers, but he should play.
October 25, 2009
Donald Driver had two receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Week 7 victory at Cleveland.

Our View:Driver's score came from 71 yards out. Over the last two games, he has compiled nine receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown, and he has scored in three of the last five games. The 11-year veteran represents a solid No. 2 wideout in all fantasy formats.
October 18, 2009
Donald Driver hauled in seven catches for 107 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Lions at Lambeau Field.

Our View:Driver now has 602 career receptions, setting a new franchise record for Green Bay. Sterling Sharpe was previously their all-time leader with 595 catches.
September 27, 2009
Donald Driver reeled in four balls for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 drubbing of the the Rams.

Our View:Many thought Driver was in decline heading into the 2009 season, but he has posted four or more receptions in each game this season and has scored in each of the last two weeks. At his current pace, Driver is an uppper echelon No. 2 fantasy wideout in 12-team leagues.

Donald Driver led the Packers in receiving in Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Bengals at Lambeau Field, as he made six grabs for 99 yards and a short touchdown.

Our View:Driver likely frustrated fantasy owners that get a bonus for reaching 100 yards, but that would be nitpicking - especially since stud Greg Jennings did not have any catches.
July 16, 2009
Adding some spice to their week one matchup in Lambeau Field, Donald Driver said on Tuesday that the Bears don't have any effective receivers, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View:Driver also defended Brett Favre in a colorful interview on Sirius NFL radio. Regardless of what he thinks of the Bears' receivers, Driver posted his fifth straight 1,000 yard season in 2008 (and sixth in seven years), and despite being 34, should have another big year in 2009. Don't let him fall too far in your draft.

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Donald Driver and his agent are involved in talks with the Packers about reworking his contract.

Our View:Driver isn't participating in voluntary workouts, but it's likely not due to a contract dispute. He says he will participate in all mandatory activities.

Packers wideout Donald Driver stated in a recent You Tube video that he has no intentions of ever playing on the same team as Terrell Owens, according to Pro Football Talk. "T.O. is a nice guy, if you get to know him, a nice, down-to-earth guy," Driver said. "Could I ever play with T.O.? No. We have talked about if we could ever play with each other. He wants the ball. I guess you could say he's selfish. He's a selfish little brat, but he's a good guy in person."

Our View:Driver made it a point to compare Owens' ball-hog approach with his subdued reaction to fellow Green Bay receiver Greg Jennings getting a majority of the balls thrown by Aaron Rodgers late last season.
