Jason Elam was held out of practice Friday at minicamp, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View:Head coach Mike Smith did not feel that Elam was 100 percent healthy, and pointed to his age (39). Smith intends to limit some of the other older players as well.

Place-kicker Jason Elam was listed as questionable on the Falcons injury report because of a bad hip, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:Reports coming out of the Atlanta are that Elam should be ready to go on Sunday.

Falcons kicker Jason Elam is dealing with an inflamed bursa sac in his hip, and though it is painful, it is not something that will prevent him from kicking, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View:Elam has been perfect on field goals and extra points this season, so despite his pain, he makes for a decent fantasy option.
