Aaron Brooks continues to work out every day in case an NFL team calls for his services, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View:Brooks has a strong arm and good mobility, but is not perceived as a good leader. Brooks had a favorable run for a while with the Saints, and it is surprising he can't find work in the NFL as a backup.

The Raiders declined their option on Aaron Brooks Thursday, according to the Sports Network. Brooks completed 57.3 percent of his passes for 1,105 yards with three touchdowns and eight interceptions during the season. The Raiders lost all eight of his starts.
