Leonard Little is dealing with a stinger, but head coach Steve Spagnuolo expects him to play in Week 8 at Detroit, according to the Rams' official website.

Our View:This is good news, as Little is having a solid season with four sacks over seven games. Stay tuned for updates on his status.

The St. Louis Rams' Twitter page is reporting that defensive ends Leonard Little and CJ Ah You both missed practice Friday due to illness. The team is not concerned, and both players are expected to play Sunday.

Our View:The two players were sent home today to keep them from getting anyone else sick, but they should be fine this week. The Rams are thin on the defensive line, so losing both of these guys would have been devastating.

Leonard Little practiced full speed with the Rams on Monday, according to the team's Twitter page. Little is expected to play in the team's first regular season game against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Our View:Little has been slowed by knee and ankle injuries this preseason, so chances are he will only play limited snaps this weekend. The Rams have discussed making Little a situational pass-rusher, and at this point that looks like the best option for the veteran.

Leonard Little "probably" will not play in the Rams' preseason finale on Thursday as he deals with an aching knee, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:He has also dealt with a sprained ankle this preseason. Little has played in just 21 of the team's past 32 regular season games, tallying only seven sacks in the process. His days as a serviceable IDP player are over.
