According to StLouisRams.com, Leonard Little is close to full speed and he hopes to be ready to practice at full speed when training camp stats.

Our View:Little should benefit from the new defensive system in St. Louis, but he has to be healthy to take advantage. If Little can stay on the field for the entire season, there is a good chance he will put up big sack numbers.

Leonard Little, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, expects to be ready to participate at the start of training camp, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Little is the longest-tenured member of the Rams following the departures of Orlando Pace (Bears) and Torry Holt (Jaguars). He will be entering his 12th season with the club in 2009.

The agents for Rams defensive end Leonard Little have been told by the team that they intend to keep him on the roster for the upcoming season, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Little was thought to be a possible cap casualty, but he remains the team's best pass rusher. Working with Steve Spagnuolo, he could see his sack total increase in 2009.

Leonard Little has revealed to the St. Louis Post Dispatch that not only did he aggravate his hamstring injury against the Patriots earlier in the year, he completely tore one of the hamstring muscles. Little has played with the injury ever since. "Where the muscles attach to the tendon on the back of my knee, I've torn that off," Little said. "So I don't have one of my muscles in my hamstring."

Our View:Even with a bum hamstring Little has recorded 4.5 scaks and 14 tackles. The Rams expect him to be on the field Sunday against the Dolphins.

Leonard Little was limited in practice on Wednesday, according to the Bears' official site.

Our View:Little is a solid defensive end when he's healthy, but that hasn't been the case for nearly all of this season.
