Hines Ward sat out today's practice, according to ESPN.

Our View:The 33-year-old vet generally does not practice on Wednesday to rest. He will be ready to battle the rival Bengals on Sunday. Ward hauled in four catches for 82 yards in their last meeting in Week 3.
November 9, 2009
Hines Ward caught seven balls for 44 yards in Monday's win over the Broncos. Ward also found the end zone twice in the game as the Steelers dropped Denver 28-10.

Our View:Just another day at the office for Hines. He only had 44 yards, but he finds a way to get himself open for touchdowns. He is Big Ben's favorite target, and he should continue to produce, especially in PPR leagues.
October 18, 2009
Hines Ward had eight receptions for 159 yards and one touchdown in the Week 6 victory over Cleveland.

Our View:In the last three games, Ward has compiled 23 receptions for 357 yards (15.5 YPC) and two touchdowns. The 12-year veteran continues to defy Father Time, and is still holding off Santonio Holmes as the No. 1 option in the passing game. Ward is a top-five receiver in PPR leagues, and top 10 in all other formats.

Hines Ward practiced Thursday, according to Scout.com. He sat out yesterday to rest.

Our View:The future Hall of Famer looks to be good to go for Sunday's game against the rival Browns at Heinz Field. The Browns' defense is ranked 29th in yards allowed per game.
October 14, 2009
Hines Ward sat out Wednesday's practice.

Our View:The veteran is not injured, and head coach Mike Tomlin merely gave him a day of rest. The Steelers will host the rivals Browns in a favorable matchup this weekend.
