Following the end of New England's season, Randy Moss was diagnosed with a separated shoulder, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:This news helps to explain why Moss opted out of the Pro Bowl. It's unclear exactly when Moss suffered the injury, and while the severity of the ailment is not yet known, you have to believe he'll be completely fine by next season. Rest alone can often be enough to heal such an injury.

Randy Moss is not expected to play in the Pro Bowl while dealing with an undisclosed injury, according to ESPN.

Our View:Perhaps Moss felt bad about taking Wes Welker's (knee) spot as an alternate as well. Chad OchoCinco will replace Moss.

Bill Belichick said that Randy Moss's absence from practice today was not injury-related, according to the Boston Globe.

Our View:That would seem to contradict reports that Moss has been limping around the team's practice facility the past two days, and we all know that the Patriots tend to be cloudy about the statuses of their players. Still, it seems like Moss should be good to go against the Ravens on Sunday.

Randy Moss (leg) has been limping around the locker room the past two days and did not practice on Friday, according to the Boston Herald's Ian Rapoport.

Our View:At this point, the injury does not seem like it'd be anything that would keep him out on Sunday, especially given the importance of the game and the fact that Wes Welker (knee) is out. Stay tuned, but expect Moss to suit up.

Randy Moss and Wes Welker have both been declared probable for Week 17 at the Texans, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

Our View:The caveat? They are probable for "not injury related" reasons. Consider this the biggest clue yet in the guessing game as to whether or not coach Bill Belichick plans to go all out to win on Sunday.
