Matt Hasselbeck (rib) is probable for Sunday's home game against Detroit, according to the Seattle Times.

Our View:Expect the veteran field general to play. Hasselbeck will have a favorable matchup, as the Lions are ranked 27th in pass defense.

According to the National Football Post, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck practiced in full on Thursday.

Our View:Hasselbeck sat out on Wednesday to rest his broken ribs, but practiced without limitation on Thursday. He led the first team offense all practice and appears to be a lock to play on Sunday against the Lions. His matchup makes him a very favorable play this week and should be employed in all lineups. Nate Burleson and the rest of the Seahawks receiving core should benefit as well.

ESPN.com reports that Matt Hasselbeck will be limited throughout this week in practices, but that he will start Sunday against the Lions. He is still recovering from an early season rib injury.

Our View:It's still safe to rely on Hasselbeck this week, although his inconsistencies this season have certainly caught our attention. The matchup looks very good, but his offensive line has to protect him against the Lions pass rush.
November 1, 2009
Matt Hasselbeck completed 22-of-39 passes for 249 yards with two touchdowns against zero interceptions in the Week 8 loss to Dallas.

Our View:For fantasy purposes, Hasselbeck is a lot like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. In Weeks 1, 5 and 8, he has thrown nine touchdowns against two interceptions. In Weeks 2 and 6, Hasselbeck failed to throw a scoring pass and he has also missed two games due to injuries.

Matt Hasselbeck fully practiced Thursday, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Our View:Hasselbeck fared fine today, and is expected to start Sunday's game at Dallas. He has been progressing well in his recovery from two broken ribs.
