October 22, 2008 Damon Huard has landed on the season-ending IR due to his injured thumb, according to Our View:Huard is the most experienced quarterback on the Chiefs' roster, but held a poor 65.7 efficiency rating this season. Tyler Thigpen will start in Week 8 against the Jets, but the newly acquired Quinn Gray will likely push him for playing time and potentially the lead role, once he learns the Chiefs' system. He fared well during his tour of duty with the Jaguars. |

October 19, 2008 Quarterback Damon Huard exited the game against Tennessee in the fourth quarter with a hand injury. Our View:Huard was replacing Brodie Croyle, who is out for the season with a knee injury. No word on the severity of the injury, though Huard was spotted on the sideline with his hand heavily wrapped. |
