Raiders coach Norv Turner said he will not replace Kerry Collins with Marques Tuiasosopo during the last three games, barring injury, according to the San Jose Mercury News. "If this was a situation where he'd been in this offense five years and everything was the way it is, then you could make a case for that," Turner said. "But Kerry is learning every week he goes out . . . and he's learning more about what we do and how we do it."

The Giants apparently considered keeping Collins after drafting Eli Manning over the weekend, but only at a reduced rate. Collins said he wouldn't renegotiate his contract, which calls for him to be paid $7 million this season.
