Kerry Collins had his second straight solid outing, throwing for 230 yards and three TDs with one interception in the Titans' win over Jacksonville Sunday.

Our View:Collins is proving to be more than just a caretaker, but we still have a hard time trusting him as a fantasy starter.

The Bears shut down the Titans rushing offense in Week 10, but Kerry Collins stepped up. He completed 30-of-41 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and no picks.

Our View:Collins needed to have such an outing to prove that this offense was not one-sided. Kerry is not worth using in fantasy leagues, but defenses may need to respect him arm a little more moving forward.

Kerry Collins practiced on Friday without any issues, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Collins should be good to go for Sunday's game against Chicago, but the Bears aren't a favorable match up for him.
October 27, 2008
Kerry Collins completed 24 of 36 passes for 193 yards in the Titans victory over the Colts.

Our View:Collins didn't throw an interception helping to mitigate the fact that he didn't toss a score. With the team undefeated and Collins playing error free ball, Vince Young will continue to remain glued to the bench.

Kerry Collins spoke about being named the Titans' starter on Wednesday according to the AP. Now in his third season with the Titans, he is comfortable with this team and very excited to be playing. Winning over his teammates? His approach involves letting them see how he prepares to start during the week and how he plays on Sunday. "Ultimately, I think you have to have guys believe in you, and I feel like I’ve got support in this locker room and I appreciate that. Those kind of things develop with time and with games and guys seeing how you play and how you react and how you work. It’s a day-to-day process, but the process takes shape over time," Collins said.

Our View:His passer rating is 109.5 with a completion percentage of 69.6 after one week. Collins is a weak play this week against the Texans who allowed just 122 yards passing in Week 1.

Kerry Collins is the Titans starting quarterback now and might be for some time. After leading the Titans to a win in Week 2, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, told ESPN.com, "that as long as we're winning, he is our quarterback."

Our View:The numbers were not eye-popping for Collins in Week 1 but they were effective. Collins threw for 193 yards and a touchdown but more importantly did not throw an interception. The Titans are going to let Vince Young's knee heal and perhaps work him back into the offense eventually, but Collins will reportedly keep starting as long as he plays well.
September 14, 2008
Kerry Collins replaced an injured Vince Young in the starting lineup and completed 14-of-21 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown, while leading the Titans to a 24-7 victory over Cincinnati.

Our View:Other than losing one fumble, Collins was a quality game manager. It helps when the ground game is effective enough to run the ball 67.2 percent of the time.

With Vince Young suffering from a sprained MCL, Kerry Collins will make the start at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, according to the Tennessean. The paper also indicated that should Collins play well, he could remain the starter even when Vince Young returns.

Our View:Collins was 2-for-2 for 65 yards Week 1, but he has only marginal fantasy value. The Titans still sport a sub-par wide receiver corps, and the team relies heavily on the running game.
