June 12, 2009 Our View:Green has suffered through countless injuries, mainly concussions, over the past several years and he feels like now is the right time for him to hang it up. He has said he would like to pursue a career in broadcasting, so we wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors. |

Our View:Green is at the end of his career after a down year filling in for an injured Marc Bulger. Green was limited to 525 yards passing with six interceptions and zero touchdowns in three games in 2008. |
