Shawn Springs should be back in action for Washington this week against the Seahawks, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Springs was reportedly going to play against Dallas, but he was unable to go due to his lingering calf issue.
November 16, 2008
According to Pro Football Talk, Shawn Springs (calf) will play vs. Dallas on Sunday.

Our View:This is very good news for the Redskins' secondary in tough match-up against the Cowboys' receivers.

Shawn Springs is doing individual work in Friday's practice, according to the Washington Post. He is recovering from a calf injury.

Our View:Springs holds little to no value for IDP leagues, but he is a solid NFL cornerback and will be needed while contending with Terrell Owens and the Cowboys' aerial attack this weekend. We will keep you posted on his status.

Despite coach Jim Zorn's confidence that defensive back Shawn Springs (calf) will take the field this week, that may not be the case, according to the Washington Times. "It's getting better but not as quick as I thought," Springs said.

Our View:DeAngelo Hall will play his first game with the Redskins, so Springs' absence may not be as crucial as one might expect. Washington plays a key divisional game against Dallas, so expect him to do every thing he can to get ready.
November 10, 2008
Shawn Springs is expected to play in Week 11 against Dallas following his bout with a calf injury, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:The Redskins' secondary looks to be in good shape against the Cowboys' aerial attack, as Springs is expected to return and the team added former Oakland cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
