The Boston Globe is reporting that Joey Galloway served as the third receiver in the Patriots' OTAs this week. Galloway is expected to be the third receiver for the Pats behind Randy Moss and Wes Welker this season.

Our View:The Pats are trying to incorporate Greg Lewis in as well, but it looks like Galloway will serve as the third wide out this season. Galloway's fantasy value is fairly slim, but with Tom Brady throwing to you there is always a chance to contribute.

Wide receiver Joey Galloway said the broken foot that hampered his production a season ago if now fine and he is looking forward to playing with quarterback Tom Brady in New England, according to the Boston Globe.

Our View:The veteran recorded three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with Tampa Bay from 2005-07, but was limited to just 138 yards on 13 catches in 2008.
March 14, 2009
Joey Galloway has inked a one-year deal with the Patriots, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View:The aging vet will compete for the No. 3 role at receiver left open by Jabar Gaffney's departure to Denver.

Joey Galloway has left his visit to Pittsburgh without a deal, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:Galloway has interest in playing for the Super Bowl champs, but is still keeping his options open on the free agent market. He would compete with Limas Sweed for the No. 3 role at receiver if he lands in Pittsburgh.

Joey Galloway is visiting the Steelers, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:He visited the Bills, but they lost interest after reeling in Terrell Owens. Galloway would compete for the No. 3 role with Limas Sweed if inked by the Steelers.
