December 20, 2004 Terrell Owens had an MRI on his injured right ankle on Monday. The test revealed a small fracture below his knee and a deltoid sprain. However, an ankle specialist peformed an additional test and determined that surgery will be necessary to stabilize the leg. Owens will have a screw inserted on Wednesday, and Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder said that the earliest Owens could return would be the Super Bowl. |
