Terrell Owens is slated to visit the Bengals on Tuesday, according to Joe Reedy's (Cincinnati Enquirer) twitter page.

Our View:Quarterback Carson Palmer previously stated that he would be excited about having Owens and Chad OchoCinco as Cincinnati's top two receivers, which is an indirect jab to Laveranues Coles, who was a disappointment as OchoCinco's wingman in 2009.

Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer endorses Terrell Owens, according to the Bengals' official website.

Our View:Palmer likes the idea of throwing to Owens, and is not concerned about his past issues. The Bengals need a better wingman for Chad OchoCinco, as Laveranues Coles was a disappointment in the role last season.

Two teams are interested in mercurial free agent receiver Terrell Owens, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:One could be the Baltimore Ravens. Stay tuned.

The Bills reportedly told Terrell Owens that he won't be offered a new deal, according to Adam Schefter's (ESPN) twitter page.

Our View:So this is further confirmation that Owens will become a free agent. He did not fit in great in Buffalo, but did average 15.1 yards per catch in 2009. He could potentially bounce back (as a fantasy receiver) with a new club and change of scenery.

According to Aaron Wilson on Twitter, the Ravens are not expected to pursue free agent wideout Terrell Owens.

Our View:There have been contradicting reports on this, as everyone knows the Ravens need a big bodied, top receiver. Still, he's aging, slowing down and a huge question mark, so we don't think the Ravens would risk it.

It remains highly unlikely that Terrell Owens will be back in Buffalo in 2010, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:Owens had a solid year in Buffalo in 2009, but with the organization rebuilding from the ground up, there just does not appear to be a spot for him. Meanwhile, expect interest in him on the open market to be lukewarm at best.

An undisclosed source stated that it is unlikely that the Bengals will pursue Terrell Owens, according to Bob Glauber's (Newsday) twitter page.

Our View:The team already has one eccentric receiver on their roster with OchoCinco, and the pair could potentially be a hazardous mix. The team should still look for an upgrade over Laveranues Coles though, who was a disappointment in 2009.

Despite recent reports by "OCNN," otherwise known as the "Ochocinco News Network," Terrell Owens is unlikely to join the Bengals in 2010, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Our View:Mortensen said on ESPN's Sunday morning NFL Countdown show that the Bengals want to develop their own young receivers. T.O. will likely have to look elsewhere for employment this offseason.

Terrell Owens has vowed to change his last name to "Ocho Uno" if he becomes a member of the Cincinnati Bengals next season, according to the Sporting News.

Our View:Chad Ochocinco is lobbying hard for the move to happen, but so far, there have been no indications that the Bengals plan on pursuing T.O. Stay tuned.

Chad Ochocinco apparently told Fox Sports' Jay Glazer that he believes Terrell Owens will be his teammate on the Bengals next year.

Our View:We should obviously all know by now to take Ochochinco word for what it's worth, though Owens donning a Bengals jersey could make a bit of sense. He's a free agent who's not expected to be re-signed by Buffalo, and Cincinnati probably wouldn't put too much weight into his character concerns.

The Buffalo News doesn't believe wide receiver Terrell Owens will be back with the Bills in 2010.

Our View:The paper goes as far as saying it's a "virtual lock" that he will not be back. At age 36, as evidenced by his 55 catches, 829 yards and six touchdowns this season, he still has something left in the tank, but his usefulness on the rebuilding Bills is minimal. After a controversy-free season, he should be able to find a suitor for 2010.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bills' dream candidate to be their next head coach, Bill Cowher, is not likely return to the league in 2010.

Our View:Could it be because his two most logical landing spots, Carolina and Tampa Bay, both already have coaches in place? Unless John Fox ends up walking away from the Panthers, it appears safe to assume Cowher will be back in CBS' game day studios next season.
January 4, 2010
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Bills have fired their entire coaching staff.

Our View:That staff was lead by interim coach Perry Fewell after head coach Dick Jauron was fired at midseason. Considering the Bills' sustained mediocrity the past five seasons (no more than seven wins, no fewer than five), it's clear a change of philosophy is needed in Buffalo. Bill Cowher appears to be their dream candidate, though his hiring would be unlikely.

Terrell Owens had four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 victory over Indianapolis.

Our View:Owens passed Tim Brown for third on the NFL's career yards receiving list on a six-yard catch six minutes into the fourth quarter. T.O. now has 14,951 receiving yards, and is one of six NFL players with over 1000 catches in his career.
