Tate lands on IR

Brandon Tate has been placed on injured reserve by the Patriots, according to Mike Reiss' (Boston Globe) twitter page. The club promoted Isaiah Stanback from the practice squad as the adjoining move.
Our View: Tate only appeared in two games following his long recovery from knee surgery. The rookie could have made an impact as a return man if healthy this season.
