The Chicago Tribune reports that Greg Olsen "will be an integral part of the (Bears) passing game."

Our View:It was foolish to think that Mike Martz would just forget about the ultra-talented Olsen because previous tight ends didn't have success in his system. While the third-year pro may not match last season's numbers, he's still a TE1 in the majority of leagues.

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that Greg Olsen has been a prominent part of Mike Martz's offense so far in training camp.

Our View:Olsen is still working out of the tight end position, which is a spot that Martz's offenses have rarely targeted. However, the skill level at that position has skyrocketed in recent seasons and this could be Martz adapting to the times. A big case can be made that Olsen is the Bears best receiver.

ESPN's Adam Schefter, who has been at Bears camp, is reporting that Greg Olsen and Chicago's other tight ends "are going to produce a lot more than people expect."

Our View:We're not buying it yet. Mike Martz's offenses are infamous for their ability to turn tight ends into extra offensive tackles, and Greg Olsen won't likely buck that trend. With Devin Hester, Devin Aromashodu and Johnny Knox all primed to receive many targets, there's just no room for Olsen.

Greg Olsen has grown tired of answering questions about whether or not he will be a good fit in new offensive coordinator Mike Martz's system next season, according to the Daily Herald. "I've addressed this a million times," he said on Thursday. "I feel good the way things have gone so far, and it's early in the process, but so far everything's been great."

Our View:Of course, Martz famously prefers his tight ends to block instead of receive. While Olsen is undeniably talented, after seeing what happened to Vernon Davis under "Mad Mike," there's no reason to be overly optimistic about Olsen's 2010 prospects.

The Chicago Sun Times reports that Greg Olsen is confident he'll remain a prominent part of the Bears' offense under Mike Martz.

Our View:We all know by now that Martz has rarely used a tight end as much more than a blocker, but with both the player and coach stating repeatedly this offseason that Olsen will remain a threat, we're starting to believe he could be a good late-round investment. If you are interested in Olsen, it's probably best to select him as a backup tight end.
