Bowe 25 pounds overweight

In an interview with the Chiefs official website, coach Todd Haley confirmed that wide receiver Dwayne Bowe needs to lose 20-25 pounds before the season. Haley did say that Bowe has been very receptive to the request and has worked hard in offseason workouts.
Our View: It sounds like Bowe really let himself go in the offseason, and it may not be easy getting back into prime physical condition. He will counted on more than ever in the Chiefs passing attack now that they are without Tony Gonzalez.
