Brad Smith suffered a head and shoulder injury in Sunday's game against the Bengals and is questionable to return.

Our View:Smith had three rushes for 91 yards and a touchdown before exiting with the injury and the Jets will be in trouble if they have to enter the playoffs without their explosive wildcat weapon. Updates to come.

Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News states that Brad Smith is likely to return kicks Sunday against Carolina.

Our View:Dwight Lowery is out with an ankle injury, and Justin Miller has surprisingly been released. Smith would hold a little more fantasy value in leagues that award points for return yardage.

According to the New York Daily News, Jets wide receiver Brad Smith is being considered "a long-shot" to play in Week 10.

Our View:Smith was limited in Thursday's practice due to a quad injury and even with the Jets coming off a bye week, he's not healthy enough to play. David Clowney will take over the No. 3 wide receiving duties and the Jets will have to find someone else to fill in for Smith to run their version of the Wildcat.

Jets' wide receiver Brad Smith is hoping to return to action this week, according to Newsday. Smith has been out since Week 5 with a quad injury.

Our View:There was some belief that Smith would be ready to return before the bye, but the team kept him out in a precautionary move. He got treatment at the team facility during the bye, and it looks like he should be good to go this week.

With running back Leon Washington out for the season, Brad Smith is expected to pilot the Jets' wildcat attack for the rest of the year, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:Smith was a very prolific running quarterback at the University of Missouri earlier this decade, so he should not be out of his element manning the wildcat. That being said, the new role should not increase his extremely minimal fantasy value.
