According to Pro Football Talk, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have announced that they will not sign troubled cornerback Adam Jones, contrary to previous reports.

Our View:The Bombers stated that they "will pursue athletes that we believe will contribute to our organization on and off the field." Ouch. There's a shot at Pacman's character. Hey may try his chances with the new UFL league now, but his options are getting thin.

FoxSports.com is reporting that former Cowboys' cornerback Adam Jones has agreed to a one-year deal with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. Jones played last season in Dallas, recording 31 tackles and recovering three fumbles.

Our View:Pac Man was hoping to get a chance in the NFL this year, but after sub-par numbers with the Cowboys last season no one was willing to take the chance on him. He chose the CFL over the new UFL league, and if he shows he still has the skill he could use this as a stepping stone to get back to the league.

Adam Jones is still hopeful that he will play in the NFL in 2009, according to the Nashville City Paper.

Our View:Pacman could have to settle for playing on the great football field in his mind, since few teams are likely to want the circus and diminished skills that would come with signing the headache-in-a-can cornerback.

It is being reported by the Dallas Morning News that, contrary to previous reports, the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones have no interest in bringing back defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones.

Our View:Maybe Jerry hasn't lost his mind after all. We'll let you know when some poor team inevitably takes the plunge and signs the troubled player.

In a surprising turn of events, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram is reporting that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has indicated that the Cowboys may bring back mercurial defensive back Adam Jones after releasing him in January.

Our View:This would be an inane move for the Cowboys after it seemed they finally realized team character and chemistry were important this offseason, but not surprising at all given Jones' cavalier nature. Should Pacman return, his only real fantasy impact would be the stunting effect he'll have on young Cowboys defensive backs Orlando Scandrick and Mike Jenkins.
