Granger's buzzer-beater lifts Pacers over Suns
Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Danny Granger nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Indiana Pacers to a 113-110 win over the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center.

Granger connected on five shots from beyond the arc and finished with a game- high 37 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals for the Pacers, who have won three of their last four games. Mike Dunleavy, who missed the first 34 games of the season with a right knee injury, chipped in 14 points off the bench.

Stephen Graham and Troy Murphy scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, for Indiana.More...
Injuries
Player Notes
Steve Nash, G Wednesday 1/7, 11:00 PM CT
Steve Nash (back) scored 16 points and handed out 12 dimes, but the Suns fell to the Pacers 110-113 on Wednesday. Phoenix was playing without Shaquille O'Neal.

Our View:Nash played 43 minutes which was a good sign for those that were concerned about his back. However, don't expect the ailment to just disappear. Nash could deal with the injury for the rest of the season.
Amare Stoudemire, F Wednesday 1/7, 10:56 PM CT
Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points and collected 11 rebounds as the Suns fell 110-113 to the Pacers on Wednesday.

Our View:Stoudemire posted 49 points and 11 rebounds the last time he faced Indiana, so tonight's performance was somewhat of a downer, especially considering that the Suns were without Shaquille O'Neal (back). As long as Shaq is out, Amare should produce strong numbers.
Shaquille O'Neal, C Wednesday 1/7, 8:00 PM CT
Yahoo! reports that Shaquille O'Neal missed Wednesday's game against the Pacers due to a back injury. "He can’t move around,” coach Terry Porter said.

Our View:O'Neal has been having a nice season, but most people were probably well aware that an injury was always around the corner. There's no word yet how severe the injury is, but for a man as big as Shaq, a back injury could be devastating.
