Pistons torch Sixers again to advance to second round Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Richard Hamilton scored 13 of his game-
high 24 points during a dominating first quarter for Detroit, and the sharp-
shooting Pistons moved into the second round of the playoffs with a 100-77
rout of the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Pistons, who won the final three games to take their Eastern Conference
quarterfinal series by a 4-2 margin, advanced to the conference semifinals
for a seventh consecutive year.
Chauncey Billups added 20 points for Detroit, which shot 58.2 percent from the

Andre Iguodala will be back as a member of the Sixers if team president Ed Stefanski has anything to say about it, according to the AP. I think Andre Iguodala is a good fit for our team, Stefanski said. Is he the (No.) 1 man on our team? He has to prove that, but Ill take a lot of Andre Iguodalas on our team.
Our View:The Sixers need to add a power-forward, and a shooter who can step out beyond the arc, but the mulit-talented Iguodala certainly isn't a bad player to build around.
Andre Iguodala uncharacteristically took only seven shots in Game 6 and the result was that he was held to 16 points on the night. He also faired poorly from the line by making just seven of 12 shots from the charity stripe.
Our View:Iguodala did pick up four steals on the night but he only had four boards and one assist. With both he and Andre Miller playing well below their capabilities, the Sixers didn't have a chance.
Andre Miller ended a fantastic season with a poor outing on Thursday as he was held to just four of 16 shooting for 11 points for the Sixers in Game 6. Miller also had a paltry one rebound and two assists.
Our View:Miller lost his shot the past couple of nights in the playoffs and he averaged just 12.3 points over his last three outings, well below his 17 point per game average from the regular season.
