Chris Duhon, G Tuesday 1/6, 9:36 PM CT
Chris Duhon and the Knicks lost to the Thunder, though Duhon had a decent effort in which he scored 18 points with six assists, but also committed four turnovers and shot just 6-of-15.

Our View: Not a terrible game, as Duhon went well above his average in points, but the poor shooting hurts, and the four turnovers are too many as well.
David Lee, F Tuesday 1/6, 9:32 PM CT
The Knicks suffered an embarrassing loss to the Thunder, but David Lee had yet another double-double, scoring 14 points with 13 rebounds.

Our View: That's the sixth straight double dip for Lee, and the tenth in his last 11 games.
Jared Jeffries, G Tuesday 1/6, 1:45 PM CT
Jared Jeffries hyperextended his knee Sunday after getting kicked, but is expected to play tonight at Oklahoma City, according to the NY Post.

Our View: Jeffries is solid defensively, but does not merit fantasy consideration while averaging 5.6 points per game.
Eddy Curry, C Tuesday 1/6, 11:18 AM CT
Eddy Curry may make his 2008 debut with the Knicks tonight at Oklahoma City following his recovery from a knee injury, according to the Sports Network.

Our View: He would have a favorable match-up, but it may take him a few games to get into rhythm and serve as a viable fantasy option.
David Lee, F Monday 1/5, 2:10 PM CT
Looking to shake things up, the Knicks are reportedly using forward David Lee as a bargaining chip for a potential deal leading up to the Feb. 19 trading deadline, according to Newsday.

Our View: One report insists the Knicks have been contacted by the Portland Trailblazers about a deal involving Lee and Portland's Channing Frye and Jerryd Bayless. Portland has agreed to offer backup guard Sergio Rodriguez as part of a two-player, straight-up deal, but the Knicks seem to be asking for more in return for Lee, who is enjoying a fine season.
Eddy Curry, C Sunday 1/4, 8:13 PM CT
The AP reports that Eddy Curry (knee) could play on the Knicks upcoming four-game road trip.

Our View: The Knicks are currently only using seven players on most nights, so Curry may find some regular playing time. If the Knicks are indeed looking to trade him, they may showcase him during extended periods in games once he is ready to contribute.
David Lee, F Sunday 1/4, 7:44 PM CT
David Lee recorded yet another double-double as the Knicks defeated the Celtics on Sunday. He finished with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocks.

Our View: Only Chris Paul and Dwight Howard have more double-doubles than David Lee. More blocked shots would significantly increase his fantasy value. He is currently averaging just 0.3 blocks per game.
Al Harrington, F Sunday 1/4, 7:42 PM CT
Al Harrington hit five three-pointers and finished with 30 points and seven rebounds as the Knicks beat the Celtics 100-88 on Sunday.

Our View: Harrington came off of the bench for the fourth straight game, but it appears coach Mike D'Antoni is still willing to let him loose when he's in the zone. He could find his way back into the starting lineup soon.
Wilson Chandler, G Sunday 1/4, 7:35 PM CT
Wilson Chandler poured in 31 points as the Knicks defeated the Celtics 100-88 on Sunday. He had eight rebounds, two steals, two three-pointers, and a block in the effort.

Our View: Chandler took a step back in December after an impressive November breakout. This was the first time this season that he has hit the 30-point mark.
Eddy Curry, C Saturday 1/3, 10:38 AM CT
Eddy Curry will be allowed to practice with the Knicks sometime in the middle of next week, according to the New York Post.

Our View: Curry is battling a knee malady, and it has been thought that he would return sometime in the middle of January, which, with this news, seems to be a realistic possibility.
Stephon Marbury, G Saturday 1/3, 10:37 AM CT
The New York Post reports that Stephon Marbury denied he has made up his mind to play for Boston upon his release from the Knicks.

Our View: ESPN reported earlier that Marbury would join the Celtics, but that is apparently not the case.
David Lee, F Friday 1/2, 9:53 PM CT
David Lee recorded a double-double in Friday's 105-103 loss to the Pacers, with 26 points and 11 rebounds. He also had three assists and five steals.

Our View: He recorded his fourth straight double-double, but the Knicks lost three times over the span. Lee should remain a favorable fantasy option despite the Knicks' woes.
Danilo Gallinari, F Friday 1/2, 9:18 AM CT
Knicks rookie Danilo Gallinari is still about two weeks away from being able to practice with the team, according to the New York Post.

Our View: Gallinari has been dealing with a back issue since the summer, and has played just two games with the Knicks. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect much from him even when he does return.
Tim Thomas, F Friday 1/2, 9:17 AM CT
Knicks forward Tim Thomas may not play on Friday, as he had a cortisone shot in his big right toe and fluid drained from it, the New York Post reports.

Our View: Thomas is not a reliable fantasy option, so he should not be missed in that regard.
Al Harrington, F Friday 1/2, 9:14 AM CT
Al Harrington will once again come off the bench for the Knicks, with Jared Jeffries getting the start, mostly for defensive purposes, according to the New York Post.

Our View: Harrington is scoring nearly 20 points per game, but Jeffries is seen as the superior defensive player. Nonetheless, Harrington will continue to be a player fantasy owners can count on.
Stephon Marbury, G Thursday 1/1, 11:22 PM CT
The latest rumor has Stephon Marbury on his way to join the Celtics, this according to ESPN.

Our View: Marbury is still property of the Knicks, so he will have to find a way out of that situation before he can become a Celtic, and though it appears that the Celtics are interested, there is still a long way to go before this move becomes a reality.
