Duhon joins Knicks
New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Knicks signed guard Chris Duhon on Wednesday.

"Chris has established himself as a solid point guard in our league making him a good addition to our roster," said New York Knicks president of basketball operations Donnie Walsh.

Duhon spent the first four seasons of his career with the Chicago Bulls, who made him a second round pick in the 2004 Draft. Throughout his career, the Duke product averaged 6.9 points and 4.5 assists in 300 games, 159 of which were starts.

Knicks' legend Walt Frazier is not sure Danilo Gallinari will be solid as a rookie and considers him to be a project, according to the NY Post. Frazier said, "No one knew about the guy. The highlights, it looks like he's a scorer, but he has the same weaknesses: defense, rebounding. Plus the kid is only 19. Come on, he's going to be overwhelmed by New York. You're looking at a project. He's a project at best. I don't think he's going to be much help this year."

Our View:The Knicks are namely concerned about his durability, and, like Frazier, are also unsure if Gallinari will contribute this season. He has missed valuable game time in the summer league due to a sore back.

Rookie Danilo Gallinari is nursing a sore back and the Knicks may shut him down for the remainder of the summer to rest, according to the NY Post.

Our View:The team is also requesting that he doesn't play for the Italian national team that will get together in two weeks. The Knicks are concerned about his durability and are also uncertain if the 19-year-old will contribute this season.

David Lee commented that he loves playing in New York, according to the NY Post. Lee said, "Playing in New York, after you've been here, anything else is a step down. I've been through so much in three years, I'd love to be here when it turns around."

Our View:Lee has been named in several trade rumors, but coach Mike D'Antoni said if it was up to him, Lee would remain with the Knicks.
