Yakhouba Diawara, F Thursday 8/7, 6:20 PM CT
The Miami Heat have signed Yakhouba Diawara to a two-year contract, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Our View: Diawara played just 10 minutes per game for Denver last season, putting in nearly three points per. He has no fantasy value.
Bobby Jones, F Tuesday 8/5, 8:39 PM CT
The Miami Heat will welcome back guard Bobby Jones , according to the Miami Sun Sentinel. Released by the Heat in late March after playing with the team on a 10-day contract, Jones was claimed off waivers Tuesday from the New York Knicks. The move completes a whirlwind for Jones, who was traded along with former University of Florida point guard Taurean Green from Denver to New York on July 28 in exchange for Knicks swingman Renaldo Balkman. The Knicks then waived Jones and Green the following day, on July 29th, before their 2008-09 salaries became guaranteed.

Our View: Jones originally signed with the Heat as a free agent on March 12, appearing in six games. He averaged eight points and four rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game for Pat Riley's injury-depleted roster, but then was released after leading the Heat with 15 points in a March 21 game against Washington. Jones, 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds, played with five NBA teams last season, appearing in 47 games overall, averaging 3.8 points and two rebounds. He played in 25 games for the Denver Nuggets, nine for the Memphis Grizzlies, the six for the Heat, four for the Houston Rockets and three for the San Antonio Spurs.
Dwyane Wade, G Tuesday 8/5, 4:16 PM CT
Dwyane Wade led Team USA with 22 points in their 87-76 win over Australia on Tuesday, the AP reports. It was the final exhibition tilt before the Olympics. They will open against China on August 10.

Our View: It wasn't a sharp effort by U.S. squad, but they still pulled off a win. Wade has looked good in these tune-up efforts, which bodes well for his fantasy stock.
Dwyane Wade, G Friday 8/1, 9:55 AM CT
Heat guard Dwyane Wade scored 19 points, dished three assists, grabbed two rebounds, and also had a steal and a block in Team USA's 120-84 decimation of Lithuania.

Our View: Wade was 7-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-3 from behind the arc to lead the scoring for the United States.
