Bulls oust interim coach Boylan
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls on Thursday fired interim head coach Jim Boylan, who took over the team in late December for Scott Skiles, but failed to turn the team around during a disappointing 33-49 season.

Boylan compiled a 24-32 record after being appointed head coach on December 27. Skiles had been fired just three days prior, on Christmas Eve.

Luol Deng, F Tuesday 5/6, 11:17 PM CT
NBA sources tell the New York Daily News that Mike D'Antoni will become the next coach of the Chicago Bulls, provided the two sides can agree on a contract.

Our View:We like the thought of Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and some of the other Bulls working in D'Antoni's fast-paced style. Of course, the Bulls don't have Steve Nash around to make everything click, but we'd see some fantasy values rise if D'Antoni does indeed land in Chicago.
Andres Nocioni, F Tuesday 5/6, 11:21 AM CT
The Bulls have targeted Mike D'Antoni to be their next head coach, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. No contract has been offered yet and the team may not hire him within the next few days, however. The team is still likely to interview Avery Johnson.

Our View:D'Antoni is more offensive minded, while GM John Paxson favors defense. He would still be a solid fit in Chicago.
Ben Gordon, G Thursday 4/17, 2:19 PM CT
The Bulls fired interim head coach Jim Boylan on Thursday, this according to Slam Sports. "I was brought in here in the middle of the season," Boylan said yesterday. "It's kind of a tough situation...Sitting in the head coach's seat was comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the challenge."

Our View:There is a whole ton of blame to go around in Chicago and this will likely be the first of many changes in the Windy City this off-season.
