Our View: Brown was basically retired this past season before the Celtics picked him up for the stretch run. He hasn't had any fantasy value for a few campaigns, and we wish him well if he does indeed opt to hang 'em up. |

Our View: The Celtics said Perkins had arthroscopic surgery Wednesday at New England Baptist Hospital. Also undergoing surgery was the Celtics' second-round draft pick, Bill Walker, to repair damage to his right knee. No timetable has been set for Perkins' and Walker's offseason returns to the Celtics. |

Our View: Allen's chances of returning were hurt by the Celtics' draft. They selected two players, J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker, both play his position. Allen will find a home some where. He is just 26 and has 72 career starts. |

Our View: Walker injured his right knee during a workout this month for Golden State. He also tore his ACL in his left knee while at Kansas State, and was a risky pick for the Celtics, but the club likes his upside. |

He's a top priority for us. Once we start there, we'll move toward other free agents and go from there." |
Our View: Posey is more important to the Celtics than he will be to fantasy owners. He made valuable contributions to Boston, but his seven points and four rebounds are nothing for fantasy owners to get worked up about. |
