Speedy Claxton pulled his hamstring during Friday's workout and could be out for a significant amount of time, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coach Mike Woodson said, "He really could be out for a while. He’ll go on the trip with us this week. But as far as playing, I don’t know. We’ll just have to see how he responds."

Our View:Claxton has suffered an injury in three straight training camps. As a fantasy performer, he holds no value.

Hawks point guard Speedy Claxton is looking fresh and ready to go as he battles back from injuries, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. However, he knows he is deep on the depth chart, saying, "I know right now I’m the odd man out. That’s just how it is."

Our View:Claxton's fantasy value is non-existent, as he is behind other point guards such as Mike Bibby, Acie Law IV, and Flip Murray.

Speedy Claxton is taking a risk by playing in the Hawks free agent mini-camp as he attempts to reestablish himself as an NBA caliber player, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "I'm doing this for me, trying to check and see how my knee feels and how I can play and how I can do on consecutive days."

Our View:Since he has been out of action for so long the Hawks obviously aren't counting on a substantial performance from Claxton, and neither should you.
