Michael Redd will undergo left knee surgery on Tuesday, according to ESPN. He tore his ACL and MCL back in January.

Our View:That marked the second major injury to his left knee in less than a year. His fantasy outlook for next season does not look bright.

Michael Redd, who exited Sunday night's game against the Lakers early with a knee injury, has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee and will be out for the rest of the season, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Redd will finish with just 18 games played this season, this after he played just 33 games last year before having surgery on the same knee. He'll need another surgery to repair his most recent damages. With two major knee surgeries in as many years, it's tough to think he'll ever return to his status as a star in the NBA, and you have to question whether his career will be in jeopardy. Charlie Bell should start at shooting guard in Redd's place, though Luke Ridnour and Carlos Delfino should benefit as well.

Michael Redd exited Sunday's game against the Lakers in the second quarter due to a knee injury.

Our View:Redd was helped to the locker room after a plant of his left leg went wrong. The bad news is that it's the same knee he had surgery on last season. He's considered day-to-day, but it wouldn't be surprising if he missed a big chunk of time. Charlie Bell took over his spot for the second half.
