Kevin Garnett was kneed in the right calf in his last game but is expected to be fine for tonight's battle at Charlotte, according to the Sports Network.

Our View:He should remain penciled into fantasy lineups, especially with a favorable match-up against the 12-22 Bobcats.

According to ESPN.com, the Celtics' Kevin Garnett would have no trouble accepting embattled Knicks guard Stephon Marbury, who is reportedly on his way out of New York and being pursued by the Boston front office. "I'm not opposed to Steph. I feel Steph still has a lot of basketball in him, I know his IQ is very, very high," Garnett said following Boston's 100-88 loss to Marbury-less New York Sunday. "He is one of the best point guards out there to play with."

Our View:It's difficult imaging the Celtics and Knicks coming together on a deal for Marbury, especially given the nature of the rivalry between the two cities and the presence of Rajon Rondo in the Celtics backcourt. Rondo has averaged a stellar 10.9 points and 7.6 assists per game this season.

The AP reports that Kevin Garnett appeared to have injured his calf in Sunday's 88-100 loss to the Knicks. KG finished with six points, nine rebounds, and five blocks on 1-for-6 shooting.

Our View:No word yet on how severe the injury may be. We will keep you posted. Despite Garnett's terrible shooting night, he was able to provide nice rebounding and shot blocking totals.
