Player Notes
November 15, 2008
Mike Miller only had 10 points in Minnesota's loss to Portland on Saturday. He had five rebounds and five assists as well.

Our View:Miller and the Wolves aren't getting it done right now. Other than Al Jefferson who scored 26 on Saturday, most of their guys should be bench players in fantasy right now.
November 5, 2008
Mike Miller busted out of his three-game slump with 25 points as the Timberwolves fell 129-125 on Wednesday. He hit five threes and contributed seven rebounds and six assists.

Our View:Miller has looked uncomfortable at times with his new team, but he was on the court for 48 minutes against the Spurs. Expect him to pick up his production moving forward.

Mike Miller missed the last two preseason games due to an ankle injury, but dazzled the hometown crowd in Sunday's return against the Nuggets, according to the Star Tribune. He made his first five shots and finished 8-for-10, with 17 points. He said, "It's always fun coming back."

Mike Miller, who has been hindered by a sprained ankle and kept out of the past two preseason games, said he felt good after Saturday's practice, according to the Star Tribune.

Mike Miller limped because of his left ankle Tuesday and did not play after injuring it in practice on Monday, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:Miller expects the ailment to keep him out for only a few days at most. It is not believed to be a dreaded high ankle sprain.
October 7, 2008
Mike Miller led Minnesota in minutes played in their preseason opener. Over 26 minutes, the veteran missed just one shot as he scored 12 points and collected seven assists.

Our View:Rashad McCants and Corey Brewer also saw a lot of action and McCants finished with 22 points in 19 minutes. Miller can play multiple positions and should not see much reduction in his playing time despite Minnesota's depth on the wing.
October 6, 2008
Mike Miller left Saturday's scrimmage early due to a sore hamstring, but is available to play in tonight's preseason opener against the Bucks, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:Miller averaged 17 points and six boards over his last two seasons with Memphis, and should prove to be a strong addition to the Wolves' frontcourt, assuming he is healthy.
June 27, 2008
Mike Miller was part of a draft day deal that sent him to the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Miller is a useful fantasy option who does a little bit of everything, as he averaged over 16 points, six boards and three assists last season. It also helps that his field goal percentage was .502 overall, and .432 on three-point shots.
June 10, 2008
Mike Miller is rumored to be involved in trade talks between the Grizzlies and the Miami Heat. The trade would also send point guard Kyle Lowry and the number five pick in the draft to the Heat in exchange for the number two overall selection, ESPN.com reports.

Our View:Heat president Pat Riley is apparently unimpressed with Michael Beasley, who measured just 6-foot-7 in his bare feet and is desperately hoping Derrick Rose will be available at No. 2. The Heat feel they can contend next year and landing Miller, one of the league's best shooters, and Lowry would help make that a reality.
