Kenyon Martin did a little bit of everything on Wednesday as the Nuggets stormed past the Nets 122-94. Martin grabbed 10 boards to go along with his 18 points and four assists.

Our View:K-Mart has been just average so far this season, but was was very good in tonight's win. His 18 points were significantly higher than his 10.5 average, and he was perfect from distance, making both three-pointers he attempted. If he can deliver a few more nights like this in the coming weeks, his fantasy stock could shoot up.

Our View:His legs feel great, and is looking forward to the 2009-10 campaign with the contending Nuggets. He could make a nice value pick in fantasy drafts after only averaging 11.7 points over 66 games last season.

ESPN.com reports that the NBA has fined Kenyon Martin $25,000 and upgraded his first quarter technical foul to a flagrant foul.

Our View:Martin did a very good job on Nowitzki in Game 1 and he is an important element to the Nuggets success this season. With two more flagrant fouls, Martin could receive a one-game suspension.
April 15, 2009
According to the Denver Post, Kenyon Martin will play in the Nuggets' season finale on Wednesday.

Our View:Martin just recently returned from a rib injury, so don't expect him to play an exorbitant amount of minutes tonight. However, he did put up 13 points in 29 minutes on Monday (his first game back), so he's a decent fantasy gamble.

Head coach George Karl has said that Kenyon Martin, who's missed Denver's last four games with a rib injury, will play Monday night against Sacramento, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:While Karl seemed confident he'd have his power forward back in the lineup, Martin himself didn't seem quite as positive, saying that his ribs are still causing a significant deal of pain and that he'll continue to take things day-to-day. It may be best to keep Martin on your bench.

Our View:Martin can not be counted on for fantasy production at this point of the season. Hopefully he will be a go in the playoffs, but fantasy owners should actually view his 64 games played this season as a good thing.
April 8, 2009

The AP reports that Kenyon Martin sat out Saturday's game with the Clippers due to his sore ribs. Coach George Karl also said that he could also sit out Sunday's game against Minnesota.

Our View:Martin should be dropped out of fantasy lineups as he is too much of a health risk at this point in the season. You shouldn't have difficulty replacing his production off of the waiver wire.

Kenyon Martin returned on Monday from his prolonged absence due to back spasms. He started but only played 15 minutes in the Nuggets 121-96 win over the Nets. The power forward finished with eight points and four rebounds.

Our View:Whether or not Martin was limited to 15 minutes because of the blowout or soreness is not known. He is a risky bet to produce good numbers for the remainder of the season.
March 13, 2009
Kenyon Martin continues to be sidelined with back spasms with no clear date for a return, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:"It's frustrating. I can't move and do things I'm capable of doing," said Martin. It seems like he could be back sooner rather than later, although it's probably best to keep him on your bench until you witness that he's back and able to make it through an entire game unscathed.
March 11, 2009
Kenyon Martin is doubtful for Wednesday's game due to back spasms, according to the Denver Post. After missing three games, he returned Monday, but apparently is still not near 100 percent.

Our View:Martin's production has dropped substantially from the first 40 games of the season. In fact, you should probably consider dropping him if there is something on the waiver wire that is tempting. Drew Gooden should finish out the season with better production than Martin.
March 9, 2009

Kenyon Martin hit 10-of-12 shots and finished with 22 points, six rebounds, and two blocks as the Nuggets fell to New Orleans 94-81 on Wednesday.

Our View:Martin has had a solid season, if for nothing more than the fact that he has missed only four games. However, he has stepped up his offense since Carmelo Anthony went down and has provided some nice defensive numbers. His 57 percent free throw shooting continues to be a major drag, though.
January 27, 2009
Kenyon Martin didn't do any one thing spectacularly in Denver's 100-85 win over the Grizzlies, but he did a lot of things well, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocks.

Our View:Not only did Martin do all of that, but his defense helped stymie Marc Gasol, who didn't score a single point in the game. He also had just one turnover for the game.
January 16, 2009
Kenyon Martin came up big for the Nuggets as they held off the Suns in overtime on Wednesday. The power forward scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and had seven steals in the win.

Our View:Martin is doing as well as anyone could have expected this season. He is still a drag on free throw percentage, but he provides solid production in most categories, in particular on the defensive end. Look for him to take more shots with Carmelo Anthony out.
January 5, 2009
Kenyon Martin recorded a team-high 25 points on Monday to go with seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.

Our View:This was the first time since November 23rd that Martin has scored 20+ points in a game.
