David Aldridge reports in the Philadelphia Inquirer that Andre Miller , Joe Smith and two first round picks in the 2007 draft will be sent to the Sixers in exchange for Allen Iverson. The deal is pending league approval. Miller should continue along in his usual ways as a quality fantasy point guard, though he could see a spike in scoring since the Sixers are desperate on that front with AI out of the picture.

Nuggets coach George Karl said that Andre Miller is expected to play Tuesday despite the sprained ankle the point guard sustained during Saturday's game, according to the Denver Post. "I think he's hurtin' a little bit, but he'll play," Karl said. "There's no question I think he'll play."

Andre Miller admitted that he came into camp out of shape and needs to shed 10-15 pounds, according to the Rocky Mountain News. It's possible that Miller, who usually plays about 35 minutes per game, could see his action limited early on until he gets in shape. "I don't think he's in the best of shape," coach George Karl said. " . . . He fatigues quicker than (before). . . . Andre is at the stage of his career where he's going to have to spend more time on conditioning. . . . I think he'll be ready to play 30 minutes (to start the season). I don't know if he'll be ready to play 40." Miller has been one of the most reliable second-tier point guards for years, but he needs to stay in shape now that he's 30.

Andre Miller will be among the Nuggets to see less playing time the final week, now that they have secured the Northwest Division title, according to the Denver Post. "I probably won't even play 25 minutes," he said of the final four games. "I really want to rest my body and get my body right for the playoffs." However, coach George Karl said his starters likely will play closer to 30 minutes per game.
