October 1, 2008 The AP reports that Andre Miller is energized for the season due to the addition of Elton Brand and coach Maurice Cheeks' commitment to an uptempo offense. Our View:Miller should have a nice season and his assists could approach eight or nine per game with the revamped 76ers. |

September 20, 2008 Sixers point guard Andre Miller has hired a new agent, Andy Miller, and now he and the team will be able to resume talks concerning a contract extension, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Our View:At 32, it's uncertain how far the Sixers would be willing to go on an extension, but he is a steady presence at point guard for the team. He is a solid fantasy option, with his 17 points and nearly seven assists per game, but if you draft him, be sure to nab other players who can actually make a three-pointer. Miller made just three of them last season and made just nine percent of his tries (3-for-34). That's not ninety percent, it's nine - as in less than ten percent. |

September 11, 2008 Andre Miller hasn't made any progress on talks about a contract extension, although he is interested in sticking around past the 2008-09 season, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. The point guard is currently in the process of changing agents. Our View:The 76ers are headed in the right direction and appear to be a major threat after adding Elton Brand this offseason. Miller is getting a little old (32), but he is also one of more reliable point guards in the league. We have to wonder if the 76ers will have the money to sign him, though. |

However, that will be difficult to do because Miller no longer has an agent, according to ESPN. Our View:Lon Babby had represented Miller, but isn't doing so anymore, according to Stefanski. Miller has one year and $10 million left on his contract, meaning he can become an unrestricted free agent in July. |

March 22, 2008 Andre Miller , who is coming off a miserable performance on Friday night, told the Philadelphia Daily News his back was OK. It was his abdomen that was ailing him now. The abdominal strain, which the point guard suffered the same day he hurt his back in a March 10 game against Boston, has been slow to heal. "The back is better, but it's more the abdomen that is aggravating me," Miller said before the Sixers' game at Amway Arena against the Orlando Magic. "It's more sore than the back."
