The Orange County Register reports that Lamar Odom anticipates returning to the Lakers next season, and he may even be willing to take a paycut to do so. "I've been living in L.A. since I was 19 years old, 20 years old. I would like to be back, but I have to do what is best for my family and the organization." Odom is a free agent.

Our View:Odom had a solid postseason as he averaged 12.1 points and 9.1 rebounds. He was particularly effective in the Finals against the Magic. The Lakers are already going to be paying the luxury tax this season and they will also have to make a decision on free agent Trevor Ariza this summer. Odom will be heavily sought after so the chances he returns are 50-50 at this point.

According to the Los Angeles Daily News, Lamar Odom intends to re-sign with the Lakers this offseason.

Our View:Odom stated that it would take "an offer he couldn't refuse" to land somewhere other than LA next year. The big sixth-man has been huge off the bench for the Lakers and has them just three wins away from an NBA Championship.

Lamar Odom was huge for the Lakers off the bench on Wednesday night. He had 19 points and 14 rebounds in the Lakers' 103-94 Game Five win. They now lead the series three games to two.

Our View:After being virtually invisible in the previous four games of the series, Odom was on his game Wednesday. He played 32 minutes, hit 7-of-15 shots from the field, nailed his only three-point attempt and also had three assists. And don't forget about that double-double.
