November 1, 2009 Lamar Odom started his third straight game in place of the injured Pau Gasol. He had just 11 points in the win over the Hawks, but he led the Lakers with 14 rebounds and eight assists. Our View:Odom would be an exceptional fantasy player if he were a nightly starter, but he will likely head back to the bench once Gasol returns. He has 20 assists through three games this season. |

October 27, 2009 Lamar Odom is expected to start tonight's game against the Clippers in place of the aling Pau Gasol (hamstring), according to Our View:Odom is nursing a shin ailment, but was deemed fit to replace Gasol. He is capable of posting solid numbers if given enough minutes tonight. |

October 22, 2009 Lamar Odom performed well on Thursday as the Lakers defeated the Nuggets in a preseason contest. Odom finished with 17 points and nine rebounds in the win. Our View:LA was without big men Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol, so Odom did a nice job picking up the slack tonight. His fantasy value is dependent on playing time, and it will greatly increase in Gasol or Bynum end up missing time this season. |
