Our View:This was a strong performance for Brand, as he fights to hold onto his spot in the starting five at power forward. He picked up his first double-double of January, and bounced back after only scoring 12 points in his previous game against Indiana.

Elton Brand missed Philadelphia's game yesterday with a stomach virus and is questionable for tonight, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:Mark another tally on the ways Brand has disappointed his owners this season, though this one isn't really his fault. His availability probably won't be known until right before game time.
