Our View:Carter turned back the clock a bit here, much to the delight of fantasy owners who were about to give up on him. He was nearly bumped out of the starting five due to an abysmal January performance in which he averaged just 8.7 PPG, 2.7 RPG and shot just 28.4 percent. Looks like he has something left in the tank after all. |

"I'm gonna play," Carter said. "I'm gonna play. I'm not one for missing games. I'm going to go out there and do everything I need to do. But I'll be able to play. The good thing about it is I don't swell." Our View:Carter has shot a rather poor 40.2 percent from the field this season. For his career, he is a 44.5 percent shooter. The good, and maybe surprising, news is that he's shooting 86.2 on his free throws, by far a career best. |
