Antawn Jamison scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds in Cleveland's 99-94 win over the Pacers on Wednesday.

Our View:He was just one rebound shy of his third straight double-double. He's not posting numbers quite as good as the ones he did in Washington, but he can still be counted on for a nightly double-double.
March 14, 2010
Antawn Jamison chipped in 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds in today's 104-93 home win over the Celtics. He also had two blocks.

Confirming an earlier item, Antawn Jamison (knee) will indeed be in Cleveland's starting lineup on Sunday against the Celtics, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He sat out on Friday.

March 11, 2010
Antawn Jamison will most likely rest his ailing knee on Friday when the Cavs take on the Sixers, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Were this the playoffs, he would probably suit up, but since it's not, he will sit out. Consider him day-to-day.
March 10, 2010
Updating an earlier report, Antawn Jamison will be a game-time call for Friday's outing versus the Sixers, according to Sports Illustrated.

Our View:Jamison won't practice up to that point, as he has a cyst behind his left knee that is filled with fluid.
March 10, 2010
Antawn Jamison (knee) is being listed as day-to-day, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:LeBron James will be back on the court against the 76ers on Friday, and at this point, it looks like Jamison will probably be too. Jamison owners should be sure to check back in on Friday.

March 1, 2010
Antawn Jamison was a standout in tonight's 124-93 home win over the Knicks, as he tallied 17 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.

Our View:Jamison picked up his second straight double-double and is fitting in well in Cleveland. His presence should help their odds of going far in the playoffs as well.
February 23, 2010
Antawn Jamison played pretty well in his first start with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, scoring 18 points with six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer.

Our View:Jamison shot 7-of-14 from the field. He still won't be putting up the types of numbers he'd gotten used to in Washington, but it's nice to see him starting and still contributing nicely to the Cavs and fantasy teams alike.
February 23, 2010
As expected, Antawn Jamison will start for the Cavaliers on Tuesday against the Hornets, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:It will be his first start for the team. It sounds like he will be replacing J.J. Hickson in Cleveland's starting five for good.
February 22, 2010
Antawn Jamison will likely start Tuesday's game versus New Orleans, according to George Thomas' twitter page.

Our View:Jamison would replace J.J. Hickson at power forward. Jamison's fantasy stock would obviously go back up if he is moved into the starting five with Cleveland.
February 21, 2010
Following the Cavs loss to the Magic on Sunday coach Mike Brown stated that Antawn Jamison will eventually be a starter at some point, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Brown is quoted saying, "At the end of the day, he's probably going to be a starter for us, he's a starter in this league. I've just got to figure things out and we're in the process of doing that right now." This is great news for fantasy owners, as his value took a big hit when he moved to Cleveland and ultimately the bench. Expect him to start soon, and consider the crisis averted.
February 21, 2010
Antawn Jamison was a whole lot better in his second go-around with the Cavs, scoring 19 points with eight rebounds in 31 minutes of action.

Our View:Jamison shot 9-of-14 from the field after failing to hit a single shot off 12 attempts in his first game with Cleveland on Friday. While his numbers surely won't be where there were at in Washington, he's still a clear must-start in all formats.
February 19, 2010
Antawn Jamison only scored two points over 26 minutes in tonight's 110-93 loss at Charlotte. He also had seven rebounds, one assist and one steal.

February 18, 2010
Antawn Jamison is not expected to be ready to make his Cavaliers debut against the Nuggets on Thursday night, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

February 17, 2010
Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers have officially acquired Wizards forward Antawn Jamison.

Our View:It's a three-team trade, with the Cavs also landing Sebastian Telfair from the Clippers. Washington is getting Zydrunas Ilgauskas and a first-round pick from the Cavs, and Al Thornton and Brian Skinner from the Clippers. The Clippers are getting Drew Gooden. Jamison is having another monster season in 2009-10, averaging 20.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. If the 43-11 Cavaliers weren't already the heavy-favorites to win the NBA Finals, they should be now.
February 17, 2010
Michael Lee of the Washington Post reports that the Wizards are on the verge of dealing Antawn Jamison to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Our View:The proposed deal is a three-team trade that would reportedly also have the Wiz sending Drew Gooden, whom they just acquired from the Mavs in the Caron Butler deal, to a "Western Conference team." If the deal does indeed go down, it will obviously have huge ramifications league-wide, as then the Heat will then be the only team publicly in the Amar'e Stoudemire sweepstakes. Stay tuned.
February 16, 2010
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Cavs have offered Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Jamario Moon and a No. 1 draft pick for Antawn Jamison and Mike James.

Our View:The Cavs are also targeting Amar'e Stoudemire, so they have to decide between this offer or one to the Suns. No word yet on if the Wizards would make this deal, but fantasy owners should hope that Jamison stays in Washington as his value would diminish if he winds up with LeBron and company.
February 16, 2010
Cleveland's efforts to pry Antawn Jamison away from the Wizards have "intensified," according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:Presumably, they will have to part with J.J. Hickson in any potential deal. Stay tuned.
February 15, 2010
Despite Washington having already pulling the trigger on a blockbuster move by dealing Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood to Dallas, Antawn Jamison remains a potential player to get dealt before the Thursday deadline as the Wizards attempt to get under the luxury tax, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:The Cavaliers remain a potential suitor, as the Post speculates that Cleveland's courting of Amare Stoudemire is merely a smoke screen to eventually land Jamison, while the Heat could be a possible landing spot for Jamison as well. Expect to hear Jamison's name a whole lot over these next three or four days.
February 3, 2010
Antawn Jamison was held to 11 points in tonight's 107-85 loss at New York. He also had six rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block.

Our View:Jamison only scored 19 points over his last two games, and is seemingly being hindered by his ailing right foot. He looks to be a gut-check for fantasy owners for Friday's game at Orlando.
February 1, 2010
Antawn Jamison exited tonight's game against Boston with an apparent right foot injury, according to Michael Lee's (Washington Post) twitter page.

January 30, 2010
Antawn Jamison was dominant in Saturday's 106-96 home win over the Knicks, as he racked up 21 points, 23 rebounds and three assists.

January 28, 2010
Antawn Jamison does not believe he will be dealt before next month's trading deadline, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:"I'm not going anywhere until they let my agent know," Jamison said. "I got a pretty good relationship with (the Wizards' front office), and all things (are) pointing forward (to me) being here until my contract is over with, so that's my mind-frame." The Cavaliers, among others, may think otherwise. Stay tuned.
January 26, 2010
Antawn Jamison (foot) led all scorers against the Lakers on Tuesday, dropping 27 points with nine rebounds.

Our View:Jamison made half of his 22 field goal attempts and was also 2-of-4 from three-point range. Jamison foot has been bothering him for the past few days but clearly was not a hindrance on Tuesday night.
January 26, 2010
Antawn Jamison (foot) said that he's good to go for tonight, according to beat writer Craig Stouffer.

January 26, 2010
Antawn Jamison may sit out on Tuesday night as he deals with a foot injury, according to beat writer Craig Stouffer.

January 25, 2010
The Cavaliers continue to target Antawn Jamison in trade discussions with Washington, according to the Northern Ohio News-Herald.

Our View:The Wizards, who aren't going anywhere this season anyway, are asking for Zydrunas Ilgauskas, J.J. Hickson and a first-round pick in return. Given that the first-round pick would likely be one of the latest in next year's draft, the asking price doesn't seem to be that realistic, so we'll have to wait and see how serious the Cavs are about adding Jamison.
January 24, 2010
Antawn Jamison had 20 points and 10 rebounds in Washington's 92-78 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.

Antawn Jamison led all scorers in Washington's win over Portland on Monday afternoon, scoring 28 points with eight rebounds

Our View:Jamison got back on track, doubling his output from Saturday when he scored just 14 points. He's averaged nearly 27 points a night over 10 games in January thus far.
January 15, 2010
Antawn Jamison generated 34 points and 18 rebounds in Friday's 121-119 double overtime loss at Chicago. He also had five assists and a steal.

Our View:Jamison could not lead Washington to a win, but got the job done for fantasy owners. The star power forward averages 30 points and 13.2 rebounds over his last five games.
January 13, 2010
Despite 25 points and 19 rebounds from Antawn Jamison on Wednesday night, Washington still lost 94-82 to the Hawks.

Our View:The Wizards are just 1-4 since Gilbert Arenas' indefinite suspension. With the season all but over in Washington, Jamison's chances of finishing 2009-10 in the nation's capital are likely somewhere around 50-50.
January 12, 2010
Antawn Jamison poured in a game-high 31 points in Tuesday's 99-90 loss to the Pistons, to go along with 10 rebounds and a block. He made 3-of-5 shots from three-point land.

Our View:Jamison could not lead the Wizards to a win, but got the job done for fantasy owners. The star power forward is in a nice groove, as he averages 29.8 points and 8.6 boards over his last five games.
January 10, 2010
Antawn Jamison led all scorers in Washington on Sunday, compiling 32 points along with eight rebounds.

Our View:It was Jamison's second 32-point performance over his past four games, over which he's scored no fewer than 26 points. He should continue to serve as Washington's top offensive option with Gilbert Arenas suspended indefinitely.
January 8, 2010
Antawn Jamison racked up 28 points and 11 boards in Friday's 104-97 win over the Magic. He also had one assist and two steals.

January 5, 2010
Antawn Jamison posted big numbers in Washington's 104-97 win over the 76ers on Tuesday, scoring 32 points with 14 rebounds.

Our View:Jamison went 13-of-20 from the field, 1-of-2 from the three-point line and 5-of-5 on free throws. Jamison posted three-straight 30-point games back in mid-December but had been held short of the mark for eight-straight games, so it was good to see him get back into an offensive rhythm.
January 4, 2010
With the Wizards considering "dramatic roster changes," many teams are believed to have recently expressed interest in forwards Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Both have considerable trade value, and either could be the piece to put a contending team over the top. For example, Jamison would look pretty good in a Cleveland Cavaliers uniform. Stay tuned.
