Antonio Daniels met with a specialist and it has been decided that he will not need surgery on his injured left wrist, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:He provides the Wizards with solid depth, as he averaged 8.5 points and 4.8 assists per game in 2007-08.

Antonio Daniels scored nine points, grabbed five boards and dished out seven assists on Friday night for the Wizards. Daniels, who is certainly not a top option at guard, continues to offer very consistent offensive production having averaged at least 8.9 points and 4.2 assists per game in each of the seasons past four months.

Antonio Daniels (thumb) did not take part in the teams Wednesday practice session, but is considered probable for Thursday's game, notes the Washington Post. Ex-Kansas City Chiefs beat writer, Ivan Carter, said through his blog on the Post that Daniels will play.
