Kobe Bryant injured his finger while Amar'e Stoudemire rejected his dunk attempt in tonight's game against Phoenix, according to Kevin Ding's (Orange County Register) twitter page.

Our View:The elite shooting guard's status is yet to be updated. He has had trouble avoiding injuries this season, and hopefully he is OK.
March 10, 2010
Kobe Bryant scored 32 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists on Tuesday night, as Los Angeles erased an eight-point halftime deficit in its 109-107 win over the Raptors. He also hit a game-winning shot with just 1.9 seconds left.

Our View:After scoring 66 points in his past two games, it's clear that Kobe is over the ankle and finger injuries that had plagued him of late. Expect nothing but greatness going forward.
March 7, 2010
Kobe Bryant was good for 34 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals on Sunday, but missed his shot with the game on the line and the Lakers fell to the Magic 96-94.

Our View:Kobe missing a game winner is a rare thing, and led to a three-game losing streak for the Lakers. Another rarity. Despite missing the shot, fantasy owners should be very pleased with Kobe's outing as he reached the 30-point plateau for the 26th time this season.
March 5, 2010
Kobe Bryant banged in a game-high 26 points in tonight's 98-83 loss at Charlotte. He also had five rebounds and two assists.

March 4, 2010
Kobe Bryant poured in a game-high 39 points in tonight's 114-111 OT loss at Miami. He also had two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.

Our View:Kobe fell short in his bid to lead the Lakers to a win, but took care of business for fantasy owners. He scored the most points since February 1, when he racked up 44 at Memphis.
March 2, 2010
Despite going just 5-of-14 from the floor on Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant still managed to score 24 points as the Lakers rolled to a 122-99 victory over the hapless Pacers.

Our View:Kobe has found himself in a mini-slump of late, scoring just 77 points in his past four games. Expect him to gradually snap out of it as he rounds back into good health.
February 28, 2010
Kobe Bryant was held to 14 points in today's 95-89 home win over the Nuggets, but he also chipped in 12 assists, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks.

Our View:Bryant left a bit to be desired in the scoring department, but still managed to have a solid overall stat-line for fantasy owners. He picked up his first double-double of February on the last day of the month.
February 24, 2010
Kobe Bryant was held to 20 points in tonight's 101-96 loss at Dallas. He also had five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Our View:Bryant was a disappointment for fantasy owners, as he was averaging 28 points and 4.7 assists heading into battle. The elite shooting guard was coming off a 32-point performance at Memphis, and should bounce back fine though.
February 23, 2010

Our View:His fantasy numbers were excellent as well: 32 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, three three-pointers and two blocks. Kobe missed five games with his ankle ailment but got a nifty 18 days off thanks to the All-Star break and appears re-energized and healthy for the second half of the season.

Our View:Bryant has missed the Lakers' past five games and will end up having received a total of 18 days off should he come back tomorrow. With the outlook seeming bright, it would be very tough to justify not starting Kobe this week, especially when L.A. is scheduled for four games.
February 20, 2010

February 17, 2010
Updating an earlier report, Kobe Bryant (ankle) will in fact sit out Thursday's matchup against Boston, according to the Orange County Register's Kevin Ding.

Our View:This comes as a bit of a surprise, as Kobe's ankle appears to be getting better, and it's not like him to sit out a nationally televised game against a rival like Boston. Still, the Lakers have gone 4-0 in their recent stint without Bryant, and it's clear that Kobe has the bigger picture in mind this season with thoughts of a repeat.
February 17, 2010
Kobe Bryant (ankle), who was a late scratch on Tuesday night, is expected to be back in action Thursday against the Celtics, according to the Orange County Register.

Our View:The Lakers have gone 4-0 in Bryant's absence, though their victory against the Warriors last night wasn't the prettiest of wins (they commit 19 turnovers), and you have to believe Bryant will do anything he can to play in a nationally televised game against Boston. Be ready to get Kobe back into your lineup.

February 9, 2010

February 6, 2010

Our View:As is the case with fellow superstar Dwyane Wade, Bryant has been banged up for some time now but continues to play through the pain. While he may not put up quite the numbers you'd like to see if he was pain free, Kobe is still an obvious must-start in all fantasy leagues.
January 31, 2010

January 21, 2010
Kobe Bryant scored a team-high 31 points in Thursday's 93-87 loss at Cleveland. He also had two rebounds and four assists.
