July 1, 2008 The San Antonio Spurs want to bring Kurt Thomas back to the team, reports the Our View:Thomas is valued more on the Spurs than he is in fantasy basketball. His leadership and toughness is important to them, but means nothing to fantasy NBA players. His only real value in that respect are the rebounds he can offer. |

February 25, 2008 Kurt Thomas played his first game for the Spurs on Monday night and he responded with four points and nine boards in just over 13 minutes of action. Thomas figures to be a defensive presence who will hit the boards hard, so don't expect consistent offensive production from him since 2004-05 was the last time he scored or rebounded in double-digits. |
