Kings' forward Jason Thompson had eight points and 10 rebounds on Monday in Sacramento's 116-105 loss to the Grizzlies. Thompson is averaging 14.6 point and 9.4 rebounds per game this season.

Our View:It was a bit of a slow night for Thompson, as he was well below his scoring average with only eight points. However, he still managed to pull down 10 boards, proving that he can still be a fantasy contributor even when his shot isn't falling.

Jason Thompson had a productive night on Friday with 27 points, 11 rebounds and to assists in the Kings 109-100 win over the Rockets.

Our View:Thompson has scored 20+ points in back to back games and has 25 rebounds over that span as well. He's averaging a double-double for the season and his fantasy stock is soaring right now.
November 10, 2009
Jason Thompson was a standout for the Kings in Tuesday's 101-98 win over the Thunder, as he generated 21 points and a game-high 14 boards. He also had two steals and a block.

Our View:The second-year pro is averaging 11.5 boards and 18.5 points over his last four games. He recorded his fifth double-double of the season as well, and his fantasy stock should continue to rise.

Jason Thompson got himself another double-double on Sunday night as the Kings downed the Warriors 120-107. Thompson had 19 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

Our View:He blocked another shot tonight as well, and he has blossomed into a nice fantasy starter. We have been touting Thompson as a break out player this season, and he is proving us right with his 31 points and 21 boards over the last two games.
November 7, 2009
Jason Thompson put together another fine outing on Saturday as the Kings beat the Jazz 104-99. Thompson scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win.

Our View:Thompson only made three shots from the field, but he did manage to hit six of his eight free-throws. He had five assists and a blocked shot tonight as well, and he remains a top sleeper candidate for this season.
November 4, 2009
Jason Thompson had a breakout performance on Wednesday night in the Kings' loss to the Hawks. Thompson had 22 points and 12 rebounds in the game.

Our View:Thompson is a major breakout candidate for this season, and he showed why today. He has the ability to put together nights like this, and he might be worth a flier if he is available in your league.
October 28, 2009
Jason Thompson had 11 points and nine rebounds on Wednesday, but the Kings still lost 102-89 to the Thunder.

Our View:Very near his season averages from a season ago. Expect slight increases this season.
October 15, 2009
Jason Thompson scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Kings on Thursday night, but his big game wasn't enough to lead Sacramento past the Lakers.

Our View:Thompson was one of the league's pleasant surprises last season, averaging 11.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He's a solid big man pick for the late rounds of your draft.
April 4, 2009
Jason Thompson scored a season-high 23 points and pulled down six rebounds in Sacramento's 139-111 blowout loss in Phoenix on Friday.

Our View:Thompson is a solid scorer and rebounder who gives a lot of quality minutes, but the fact he is often the team's third scoring option severely limits his fantasy value.
March 30, 2009
Jason Thompson scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Sacramento to a 126-118 win over Phoenix at ARCO Arena on Sunday.

Our View:Thompson has scored in double figures in eight straight games, and he is averaging 13.5 points this month, nearly a point higher than his previous best monthly mark set in January.
March 22, 2009
Jason Thompson picked up his fourth double-double of his last five games in Sunday's 112-100 loss to the 76ers. He finished the game with 12 points and 13 rebounds in 28 minutes of action.

Our View:Thompson is quietly having his best month of his rookie season. He posted no double-doubles in February and had just nine total before this current stretch that has him averaging 13.8 points and 11.6 rebounds.
March 15, 2009
Jason Thompson had 14 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks as the Kings fell 106-104 on Sunday.

Our View:The rookie's minutes continue to fluctuate, but his promise as a good player in this league remains strong. He is not someone you want to rely on for fantasy purposes, but you could certainly do worse in deeper formats.

Jason Thompson scored 21 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and handed out four assists as the Kings fell 119-100 to the Celtics on Wednesday.

Our View:This was quite a showing for the rookie as he squared off against Kevin Garnett and the Celtics' formidable defense. Thompson has a secure hold on the Kings starting power forward role ahead of Mikki Moore.
January 21, 2009
Jason Thompson finished Sacramento's 118-99 loss to Denver Tuesday with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Our View:The rookie from Rider has received considerably more playing time in January, and his production has increased accordingly. Thompson is averaging five more minutes per game in January (27.4) than in December (22.4) and his points-per-game average is up from 7.0 to 11.4.
January 17, 2009
