Jason Thompson double-doubled off the bench Wednesday with 17 points and 15 boards as the Kings were slaughtered by the Warriors 130-98.

Our View:Thompson now has three double-doubles in his last four games and was just one rebound short of his season high total. He's come off the bench the last five games, but this was by far his strongest effort.

Jason Thompson was productive off the bench in tonight's 95-92 home loss to the Celtics, as he collected 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.

Our View:Thompson fared much better after only scoring five points in his previous outing at Detroit. The rising star picked up his second double-double of February.

Jason Thompson will miss the next two games while attending to a family funeral on the east coast, according to Jason Jones' (Sacramento Bee) twitter page.

Our View:So look for Thompson to rejoin the Kings for Sunday's contest at Toronto. Jon Brockman should be afforded more minutes in his absence.

Jason Thompson played hard in Friday's 98-86 loss at Philadelphia, as he banged in 19 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. He also had five assists and three blocks.

Our View:Thompson set a new personal single-game high in rebounds for 2009-10, and fared much better after only scoring six points and five rebounds over 19 minutes in his previous outing against Orlando.
