Player Notes
November 30, 2008
Paul Millsap had a double-double on Saturday, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and one each of blocks, assists, and steals.

Our View:Millsap is available in most leagues and shouldn't have as much value once Carlos Boozer returns to the lineup.
November 26, 2008
A few days after playing just 18 minutes and scoring eight points, Jazz forward Paul Millsap scored 24 points with 16 rebounds in 37 minutes in Utah's win over the Grizzlies.

Our View:Millsap has decent per-game averages, but is only seeing this amount of time due to Carlos Boozer's absence.
November 22, 2008
Paul Millsap started at power forward but managed just 18 minutes in Utah's 103-94 win against Memphis on Saturday. He finished with eight points, sour rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Our View:Carlos Boozer figures to miss at least a week of action and Millsap should benefit, but failed to produce tonight.
November 14, 2008
Paul Millsap came off the bench for Utah and contributed 12 points, five rebounds, and two blocks for the Jazz on Friday.

Our View:Millsap doesn't play enough to have much fantasy value, but if the Jazz don't get three of their top six players back in Mehmet Okur, Andre Kirilenko, and Derron Williams back soon, his stock will rise.
November 3, 2008
Paul Millsap played a big role off of the bench for Utah on Monday as they defeated the Clippers 89-73. He finished with 24 points and nine rebounds while shooting 8-for-12.

Our View:Millsap is a good talent who could start for some teams. However, his minutes figure to be too inconsistent for him to make any sort of fantasy impact except for in very deep leagues.
September 30, 2008
Paul Millsap feels 100 percent recovered from his off-season thumb surgery, according to the Deseret News.

Our View:Millsap averaged 8.1 points last season and is a solid rebounder, but won't likely see enough minutes as a backup to make him fantasy worthy.
June 28, 2008
The AP reports that the Utah Jazz exercised the team option on forward Paul Millsap. Millsap has been a surprise for the Jazz since they got him with the 47th pick in the 2006 draft.

Our View:Millsap averaged 8.1 points and 5.6 rebounds last season and led the Jazz in rebounding seven times.
May 23, 2008
Paul Millsap underwent left thumb surgery on Friday, the team announced to the Salt Lake Tribune. The forward will wear a cast for two weeks and expects to be fully healed in six weeks.

Our View:Millsap has some solid per-48 digits, but he's currently just a nice bench guy for the Jazz. His fantasy value would skyrocket if Carlos Boozer wasn't blocking his path, but that's not the case.

Paul Millsap, who injured his thumb in Game 6 against the Lakers will have to undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, according to the Associated Press. No timetable has been announced for his recovery.

Our View:Millsap was an eight and five guy during the regular season who slumped a bit in the playoffs from those levels. However, Millsap did slightly improve many of his numbers in his second NB Aseason and will make a nice late round pickup if healthy next season.
February 28, 2008
Paul Millsap ignited a furious Jazz comeback in which they overcame a 15 point deficit with five minutes left in the third period as the squad beat the Pistons 103-95. Millsap scored 19 points on the night, but 16 of them came after the break as he produced his biggest point total since December 21st.
