Tyrus Thomas dropped in 20 points in tonight's 102-93 loss at Utah. He also had three rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block.

Our View:Thomas had his best scoring outing since December 26, when he had 21 points versus New Orleans. He is worth keeping tabs on, but cannot yet to trusted in fantasy lineups.

Tyrus Thomas is ready to make his debut with the Bobcats tonight versus the Cavaliers, according to Brian Windhorst's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:It remains to be seen how Thomas will perform in coach Larry Brown's laid-back system. It is clear that he has the talent to post solid numbers though.

Updating an earlier item, the Bobcats have indeed acquired Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:In exchange, the Bulls are said to be getting Flip Murray, Acie Law and a future first round draft pick. While Thomas will still have fantasy value in Charlotte, his numbers could go down playing in Larry Brown's famously conservative system. New York would have been a much better destination for Thomas' fantasy owners.

ESPN's Ric Bucher says the Bobcats are the most likely landing spot for Chicago's Tyrus Thomas.

Our View:Meanwhile, talks between the Bulls and Knicks regrading Thomas have "lost traction," according to Yahoo! Sports. Fantasy owners should hope that's not the case, as Thomas would likely see an across the board increase in his stats playing in Mike D'Antoni's high-flying system.

In what may have been his final game as a Bull on Wednesday night, Tyrus Thomas contributed eight points, six rebounds, two steals and a block off-the-bench in Chicago's 115-109 win over the Knicks.

Our View:Tonight, Thomas showed why so many teams are interested in acquiring him. He can do it all, and usually above-the-rim. Stay tuned.

The Spurs are very interested in acquiring Chicago's Tyrus Thomas, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:They are apparently trying to flip Antonio McDyess and the remaining $7.5 million on his contract to clear money and space for Thomas. While Thomas has been a tremendous headcase in Chicago, he is extremely talented, and with San Antonio having a good track record of making malcontent players conform to its system and fitting in, he could be a huge addition in South Texas. Stay tuned.

The Nuggets, Rockets and Timberwolves appear to be the most serious candidates to land Tyrus Thomas before the trade deadline on Thursday, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:The Rockets and Nuggets would be looking to add Thomas to their frontcourt depth as they look to contend this season, while the T-Wolves would apparently see him as a complement to Kevin Love that would allow them to move Al Jefferson for a shooting guard or small forward this offseason. Regardless of what happens, Thomas appears to be very much on the outs in Chicago.

Because of his "youth and shot-blocking abilities," the Blazers say they are interested in acquiring Chicago's Tyrus Thomas, according to Brian Smith of the Columbian.

Our View:They join the Knicks, Kings, Spurs, Nuggets and Hornets in their interest of Thomas. With this many teams in on the young forward, expect the Bulls to get a decent haul in return.

The Knicks, Kings, Spurs, Nuggets and Hornets are all interested in acquiring mercurial Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:The Bulls are looking for a first round pick in exchange, and say several teams are willing to give one. Thomas sounds as good as gone from the Windy City. Stay tuned.
February 10, 2010
Tyrus Thomas banged in 16 points off the bench in tonight's 107-87 home loss to the Magic. He also had six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

Our View:Thomas had a solid performance - but it may not be good enough to get him back on the good side of the team. There has been speculation that he is on Chicago's trading block.
February 10, 2010
There's a remote chance that Tyrus Thomas could be traded to the Bobcats, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Our View:"Remote" because the Bulls reportedly want a lot in return. That being said, their asking price could come down around the February 18 deadline if no good offers are on the table. This being since the Bulls are widely believed to be letting Thomas walk next summer.
February 9, 2010
Tyrus Thomas' days with the Bulls seem very much numbered, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:The Bulls will do everything they can to trade him before the Feb. 18 trade deadline, and even if they're unable to find a suitor, you can expect them to let him walk after this season when he's due to become a restricted free agent. Thomas' ability to block shots does cater well to fantasy, and thus he could end up getting a boost in value if he lands on a team where he is not in the coach's doghouse and can get more minutes.
February 7, 2010
Tyrus Thomas will return to the Bulls lineup on Tuesday after serving a one-game suspension on Saturday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:He was reportedly suspended for unleashing an expletive laced tirade on head coach Vinny Del Negro on Friday. With every mind-numbingly immature incident, Thomas pushes himself further out the door in the Windy City.
February 6, 2010
Tyrus Thomas has been dealt a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team, according to Marc Stein's (ESPN) twitter page.

Our View:Thomas will serve the suspension tonight when Chicago hosts Miami.
January 11, 2010
The Bulls are said to be making Tyrus Thomas very much available on the trade market, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Thomas has been inconsistent in his role off the bench for Chicago since returning from a broken arm in late December. He still has fine potential, especially in the rebounds and blocks categories, so a change of scenery would almost certainly boost his fantasy value.
