Jorge Garbajosa has signed with Khimki BC to play in Russia next season. He will be teammates with former NBA guard Carlos Delfino.

Our View:Garbajosa played just seven games with the Raptors last season as he battled leg and ankle injuries. With such questionable health, it is unlikely he will return to the NBA.

The Raptors and Jorge Garbajosa have agreed to terminate the final year of the forward's contract, the Toronto Sun reports. Garbajosa played in only seven games this past season to complications arising from a left leg/ankle injury suffered in March 2007. This news means Garbajosa is free to play for Spain in the 2008 Olympics.

Our View:It'll be interesting to see if the 6-10, 30-year-old forward will be able to parlay a strong Olympics performance into another NBA contract. He doesn't have any fantasy value, but when healthy, the Garbage Man can do some nice work off the bench.

It sounds like forward Jorge Garbajosa may be done with the Toronto Raptors, according to SLAM Sports.

Our View:SLAM quotes Spanish media reports stating the Raptors are attempting to buyout the final season of Garbajosa's current contract, worth $4.35 million. Garbajosa spent the majority of the past season recovering from a gruesome leg injury suffered in March 2006. The Raptors filed a lawsuit against the Spanish basketball federation in March, over money they felt they were owed on an insurance claim against Garbajosa's contract. Garbajosa played seven games this past season before having surgery on his left ankle and leg to repair lingering damage from his injury.

Jorge Garbajosa still has no timetable for his return from left ankle/leg surgery. "He's making progress," GM Bryan Colangelo informs the Toronto Sun. "We're being very cautious with respect to his return. A strict protocol has been established with respect to his rehabilitation." Garbajosa played in only seven games this past season. He initially broke his lower left leg and dislocated his left ankle in March of 2007, and further complications led to a surgery this past December.

Our View:Garbajosa is another big question amidst the Raptors stack of offseason worries. The roster could see a lot of changes this summer. No matter what happens, though, Jorge won't have much fantasy value heading into 2008-09.
