March 10, 2010 Chris Paul (knee) is still at least two weeks away from returning to the court, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Our View:Paul still has not been cleared to run. The Hornets are quickly falling out of playoff contention without him, though he does appear determined to return before the season comes to a close. The fact that he probably won't be back with any more than 10 games remaining on the schedule certainly puts his fantasy owners in a bind, though a player of his stature really has to be held onto unless it's confirmed that he won't be back. For now, hold onto him and cross your fingers with hopes that he's back as soon as possible. |

Our View:The Hornets are hoping that he's cleared to run sometime this week, although whether or not he actually will be cleared remains up in the air. Our View:Paul is slated to have the surgery on Monday, so this appears to be a legit report. It's time to start looking for replacement options. He is still worth hanging onto, but if he misses the full two months he would only be back for the final two weeks of the regular season. Darren Collison will now start in his place and could be a nice pickup. |
