The Cavaliers have waived Billy Thomas, according to the News-Herald.

Our View:Thomas had a contract worth $826,269 for the 2008-09 season, but it wasn’t guaranteed. The 32-year-old Thomas has signed with Kavala/Panorama in the Greek A1 league.

The Cavaliers signed guard Billy Thomas and forward Kaniel Dickens to their second 10-day contracts on Monday. Injuries to Daniel Gibson and Sasha Pavlovic have left the Cavs a little short on bodies. Neither Thomas nor Dickens has any fantasy value.
