Al Jefferson has been suspended by Minnesota for the next two games without pay following his DWI arrest this morning, according to Sports Illustrated.

Our View:Jefferson feels terrible about the arrest, but the team believes he needs to be punished for his actions.
February 28, 2010
According to Darren Wolfson on Twitter, Al Jefferson apparently was arrested and charged with a DUI on Sunday morning.

Our View:Wolfson provided the booking log for the arrest as well, so this appears to be legit. Jefferson is already dealing with a sub-par season and reduced playing time, so this is the worst possible thing for him right now. He likely won't be suspended by the league though, as his court date is after the regular season ends.

Al Jefferson looked good in tonight's 110-91 home loss to the Blazers, as he racked up 19 points, 11 boards and two assists.

Our View:Jefferson recorded his fourth double-double of the month, and had his best scoring output since February 1, when he also had 19 points versus Charlotte.
February 23, 2010
Al Jefferson scored 10 points with 11 rebounds in Minnesota's 91-88 win over the Heat on Tuesday.

Our View:It's tough to complain about a double-double, but Jefferson's owners would clearly like to see him get more than 26 minutes of action and be a bit more aggressive on offense; he failed to get to the line a single time. He's now scored exactly 10 points for three straight games and does not seem to be fully recovered from last year's knee surgery.
February 17, 2010
Al Jefferson hit 8-of-10 shots Wednesday and put up 18 points, seven rebounds and two steals in a 108-99 loss to the Wizards.

Our View:Jefferson is normally a solid source of points and rebounds, but has only reached the 20-point mark once this month. He also has just two double-doubles in his last six games. Expect a return to form soon.
February 16, 2010
Al Jefferson scored 14 points in tonight's 108-85 loss at Detroit. He also had five rebounds and one assist.

Our View:This was a disappointing performance for Jefferson, who was averaging 17.7 points and 9.8 boards heading into the battle. Perhaps he was hindered by his ailing knee.
February 16, 2010
According to Jerry Zgoda on Twitter, Al Jefferson tested his "tight" knee and has deemed himself good to go for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

Our View:Jefferson has had knee issues in the past, so this is a bit troublesome, but the injury doesn't seem serious. He should be fine to employ in fantasy lineups, but keep in mind that he's not completely healthy.

The Timberwolves "continue to rebuff" teams looking into acquiring big-man Al Jefferson, according to ESPN.

Our View:They've already turned down a pretty good offer from the Bulls, Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas, so expect Jefferson to stay put this week.
February 10, 2010
Al Jefferson played hard in tonight's 93-92 home loss to the Bobcats, as he collected 19 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

Our View:Jefferson was 5-of-12 from the field and collected three assists and three steals in the game as well. The point total was low, considering he's averaging almost 18 per game, but he did record his first double-double in three games.
January 31, 2010
Al Jefferson double-doubled in Sunday's win over the Knicks with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Our View:Jefferson was 10-of-17 shooting and earned his sixth straight double-double. He's been wanting out of Minnesota, and the way he's performing lately, the T-Wolves may want to sell high while he's hot.
January 31, 2010
Al Jefferson is "tired of losing," according to New York Post.

Our View:That according to a "confidant" of the T-Wolves center. Rumors have recently swirled that Jefferson is requesting a trade, but Minnesota general manager David Kahn denies it, and even if he had, he is likely stuck in the Twin Cities for the foreseeable future.
January 29, 2010
Al Jefferson put up a strong performance on Friday with 14 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in the Wolves 111-97 win over the Clippers.

Our View:Jefferson's rebounding skills have been on display lately, but he has failed to put up a 20-point game in his last four contests. Prior to his scoring drought he had six straight 20-plus contests.
January 22, 2010
Al Jefferson fought hard in Friday's 96-94 home loss to the Hornets, as he generated 25 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks.

Our View:Jefferson could not lead Minnesota to a win, but got the job done for fantasy owners. He picked up his seventh double-double of January, and averages 22.8 points over his last six games.
January 20, 2010
Al Jefferson's 20 points and nine rebounds weren't enough for the Timberwolves on Wednesday, as Oklahoma City pulled out a narrow 94-92 victory.

January 18, 2010
Al Jefferson banged in 23 points and 13 rebounds in Monday's 108-103 OT win over the Sixers. He also had two blocks.

January 13, 2010
Al Jefferson scored 26 points and grabbed an inhuman 26 rebounds on Wednesday night, but Minnesota still came up on the short-end of the stick in an epic, 120-114 three-overtime loss to the Rockets.

Our View:Obviously, the 26 rebounds were a career-high. It was his first 20-rebound effort since February 7, 2009.
January 11, 2010
Al Jefferson banged in 22 points with a team-high 15 rebounds in Monday's 105-94 loss at Denver. He also had two assists, one steal and one block.

Our View:Fantasy owners should be pleased with Jefferson's performance, as he scored above his season averages in points (17.7) and rebounds (9.1). He collected a double-double in three of his last four games.
January 10, 2010
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Timberwolves attempted to trade Al Jefferson to the Pacers for Danny Granger, but the deal was quickly shot down by Indiana.

Our View:G.M. David Kahn is apparently shaking things up and Jefferson's future in Minnesota doesn't seem nearly as solid as it once did. There are reports that he and Kevin Love aren't getting along, so Al may be on his way out.
January 8, 2010
Al Jefferson carried the Timberwolves with 25 points and 12 rebounds in Friday's 116-109 win over the Pacers. He also had two assists, one steal and one block.

Our View:Jefferson is in a nice groove, as he averages 24.6 points and 10.6 boards over his last three games. He will remain a good fantasy option as long as he can stay healthy.
January 6, 2010
Al Jefferson hauled in 26 points and 14 boards in tonight's 107-101 loss to the Warriors at the Target Center. He also had one assist, one steal and two blocks.

Our View:Jefferson reached at least 20 points for the 15th time this season, and picked up his 16th double-double. He should remain a solid contributor for fantasy owners, as long as he can avoid the injury bug.
January 2, 2010
Al Jefferson scored a game-high 23 points in Saturday's 122-111 loss at Indiana. He also had six rebounds and two assists.

Our View:Jefferson left a bit to be desired in the rebounding department, but at least he had a solid night as a scorer. He topped 20 points for the fourth time in his last six games.
