Player Notes
December 2, 2008
Andrew Bogut is 50-50 to play on Wednesday night, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View:Bogut's production has been erratic this year when he's been healthy, so owners probably shouldn't risk starting him tonight.
November 26, 2008
Andrew Bogut is expected to miss at least a week while recovering from a knee injury, according to the Sports Network.

Our View:Bogut leaves a bit to be desired in the points department, but is a solid defensive center while averaging 10.9 boards and one block per game. Keep him stashed on fantasy rosters.
November 22, 2008
Andrew Bogut grabbed 17 rebounds as the Bucks beat the Bobcats 79-74 on Saturday. He added 12 points and four assists but hit just 2-of-7 free throws.

Our View:After a terrible start, Bogut has been a beast on the boards of late. However he hasn't done much else and he'll need to in order to justify his draft position.
November 21, 2008
Andrew Bogut carried the Bucks in Friday's 104-87 win over the Knicks, as he generated 14 points, a game-high 17 rebounds, three assists and one block.

Our View:Bogut has collected 37 rebounds over his last two games, but continues to rank below the elite fantasy centers in the NBA as he only averages 10.8 points for the season.
November 19, 2008
Andrew Bogut continued his ups-and-downs of the 2008-09 season on Wednesday night. A day after only having two points and three rebounds, Bogut came up big with 16 points, 20 rebounds, three assists, and one block. The Bucks still got beat 105-94 by the Jazz.

Our View:Bogut's becoming more consistent and is more likely to have a monster game than a bad one at this point. Keep him in your lineup.
November 18, 2008
Andrew Bogut was limited to two points in 16 minutes starting for the Bucks on Tuesday night. He added three rebounds, three assists, and a block to his mediocre performance.

Our View:Bogut's biggest problem continues to be consistency. He won't be a great fantasy option unless he can produce every night.
November 16, 2008
Andrew Bogut fell a rebound shy of a double-double on Friday. He had 20 points, a block, and an assist in addition to the nine boards.

Our View:Bogut's a solid source of points and rebounds.
November 12, 2008
Andrew Bogut rebounded strong against the Spurs after a couple of poor efforts. He finished with 10 points, 17 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.

Our View:This is the performance that his owners have been waiting on. Just as importantly as his positive production, his zero turnovers were a rare sight.
November 2, 2008
Andrew Bogut helped the Bucks win in New York on Sunday. He scored 13 points, had 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Bogut still hopes to be able to play in the Bucks' regular-season opener on Tuesday in Chicago. He will miss the team's final two exhibition games.

Our View:Count on Bogut to be a go for the regular season and for his numbers, especially on the defensive end, to go up once again this season under new coach Scott Skiles.
October 21, 2008
Andrew Bogut was held out of Monday's practice due to a sore left ankle, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He said, "I came in yesterday and got treatment and today. We thought it was best not to go Monday and just try to stay off it. The funny thing is it's one of those injuries where it's not really sore to walk on or run in a straight line. It's more just changing direction that hurts."

Our View:The injury is not believed to be serious, and thinks he should be fine. We will keep you posted on his status. If healthy, he would be worthy of consideration as a No. 1 fantasy center.
October 15, 2008

Andrew Bogut was a late scratch on Monday night, not because of the tender ankle that trouble him after the Olympics but because of a migraine headache, according to the Associated Press.

Andrew Bogut has been working out the past two weeks despite a sprained ankle and he should be ready to go when training camp opens on September 30th, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I've been going full speed for the last week and a half to two weeks."

Our View:This is great news and should put to rest most doubts that he will be fully healthy by the start of the year. This is a big year for Bogut after last season's effort that produced 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game - he is a top-10 option a the center position.
September 18, 2008
The Bucks expect center Andrew Bogut to be ready for the start of training camp. He injured his left ankle in the Olympics and has been rehabbing. "Reports are that he's healthy and should start training camp 100 percent," general manager John Hammond informs the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "That's what we are hoping and anticipating."

Our View:Bogut had a strong finish to his 2007-08 season, and he should be a top-10 fantasy center if healthy. We do worry, however, that Michael Redd and Richard Jefferson could limit Bogut's scoring totals a little.
August 27, 2008

Our View:Seamus Dalton, the team doctor for Australia, said he did not know the severity of the injury, and we would like to hear what the American doctors have to say, but it doesn't sound good. Reports from Australian Olympica coach Brian Goorjian indicate a loud "pop" was heard, a definitive sign of major injury. We'll track the situation and keep you posted.

Our View:Of course, it is entirely possible that Bogut is wrong and he could simply have a sprained ankle. More will be known after the MRI is complete. He is a very good option, when healthy, at the always-thin center position in fantasy basketball.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Andrew Bogut has signed a five year $60 million extension with the Bucks. Original reports suggested $72.5 million.

Our View:$12 million per season is about right for the Austrailian big man. He is a consistent double-double threat who passes as well as any big in the game. Given Milwaukee's plethora of jump shooters, he works well in their system. He is also a Scott Skiles type player. He is consistently under-valued in fantasy circles but should be considered a top-15 center-eligible player. In three seasons, he has started all but 20 games for Milwaukee.
July 9, 2008
Andrew Bogut's agent (David Bauman) stated that his client is expected to ink a new five-year deal with the Bucks worth $72.5 million, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

July 1, 2008
Andrew Bogut is not a free agent, but he would like to remain in Milwaukee for the foreseeable future by signing a long term extension with the club, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View:Bogut has steadily improved during his three seasons in the league, and should continue that trend. He could become a top fantasy option at the thin center position next year.
