Despite the loss to Indiana this evening (95-102), Matt Carroll provided a note of positive reflection by coming off the bench and giving the Bobcats some much-needed offense. Carroll with 6-of-9 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range, ending with 18 points. Carroll is a shooter and can provide quality scores if given the opportunity. Unfortunately, those chances don't come often enough.

Matt Carroll is expected to sit out Friday's game due to tendinitis in his right ankle, according to the Charlotte Observer. It'll be the second straight game Carroll has missed due to the ailment. On the upside for the Bobs, they'll get Gerald Wallace back in the mix.

Matt Carroll has agreed to a six-year, $27 million deal to remain with the Bobcats. "I can't describe how happy I am. After the Jason Richardson (trade) I didn't think it would work out like this. I thought I might have to go somewhere else," Carroll told the Charlotte Observer. Carroll averaged a career high 12.1 points in 72 games last season.
